THEY WERE taking a break by reclining against a tree when they heard something. The sound of horses and yelling horsemen suggests that many people are on their way, and they are approaching. Without saying a word, Magnus drew Blandine back into his hugs out of panic.

Blandine exclaimed in shock, beginning to feel terror once more, "Magnus, they're here. I think... We should just stop running away, please?"

But he was obstinate, so he wouldn't comply even if it was the last thing she asked for. He attempted to change, but for the time being he can't because he was always selfish. In spite of the world, he desperately wants to be with her. If he starts becoming egotistical, he apologize to everyone, especially to her.

With her in his arms, he sprinted with all his strength, extending his long legs to move more quickly. As soon as the Imperial guards noticed them fleeing, they yelled in unison. They were located!

Magnus sprinted while holding Blandine, who was still sobbing in his arms. "Then kindly allow me to assist you. You're tired, I'm going to--"

He scowled and replied, "No, if you run with me, they'll hunt you first. They know you'll slow me down, so they're going to capture you in order to get me." He added, "I'm sorry baby, just please... don't do anything, okay? Just remain with me."

She gave a nod. All he could see in front of him was a dead end, which caused him to lose his way. The only obstacle in their path is a hollow that is perhaps thousand meters high, and they are on a freaking cliff. When they came to the cliff's edge, he stopped, his heart pounding as Blandine squirmed on his arms and stared down into the abyss below them. It is an Abyss, not just a hole of thousand meters.

No one would survive this fall.

"Fuck, I just want my father to realize that I'm going to rebel if they take you away from me so I chose to run away..." Magnus whispered.

He released Blandine from his arms when she flinched. But he grabbed her without hesitation in order to keep her close to him and prevent her from escaping. They continued to stare into the void, and Blandine soon clasped his face. With tears in her eyes, she traced his anxious face.

She pleaded with him, breaking him even more, saying, "Magnus, please. There are people waiting for us. For you in the Empire. You can always have a great future. You are their leader, their ruler, their emperor, they can't lose you. You can't do this simply because of me."

She breathed heavily, "You can't just rebel because the world condemns everything about us. You are an Emperor, please..."

His tears fell. He shook his head, "Baby..."

"They're waiting for you, Emperor Magnus."

He cried, "No, Blandine! I want you, just you, so please stop talking about them. Please. I'm hurting too much." He then embraced her. And just being around her is enough to give him the sense of comfort he has always desired.

"Let me go, Magnus." she cried, "It was always like this. Even before... in our past lives. The world condemns our love so we never got together. And it's happening again... as always. Being together is never the answer. It cannot solve our neverending cycle and suffering."

Magnus furrowed, he don't understand a thing Blandine was saying, "Baby..."

"What should I do? I don't know. I thought everything has changed, our fate... But what's this?" Blandine cried.

"No, I will never let you go. I'm willing to jump off a cliff with you even if it's the last thing we do. Baby, let's be together until the end." Magnus said, determination in his tone with deep meaning.
