Jungkook's POV
10 pm
I get outside of the walk-in shower meant for a relaxing cold bath which i often take after a long exhausting day like this, and i raise my hand up to grab hold of my towel while my other free hand goes to the cabinet above the sink. I cover myself with the towel, not using the dry fabric to wipe my skin as my skin will dry by itself meanwhile i put this moisturizing facial cream on my face not let my wrinkles be too significant.
I'm forty soon, and i don't think i am supposed to be so unbothered of my features, but i cannot waste much time on myself for the same attractive looks i've had back then.
After this is done, i walk out the bathroom and make my way towards the closet, and i enter it to turn the lights off, i don't be choosey and i pick up the loose grey sweatpants along with a black t-shirt. I wear them and ruffle my wet hair, glancing at myself before walking outside.
I feel terribly hungry and the smell of the food being heated is worsening the situation of my empty stomach filled with only a can of beer and some shrimp chips.
"Has hanuel went to bed already?" Going straight away to the kitchen, i glance at the pot on the stove and the small person next to it, busy in cutting some olives for my favourite night dish, olive salad. I startle june with the sudden echo of my voice, she turns around but smiles nervously in a soft manner. "Uh yes..." she mumbles, turning back around to continue with the work she's totally dedicated in.
I smile at the perfection of her work i am used to seeing since the first day of her job and what relieves me. Interested to see on what she's doing and basically I'm free right now, so i walk up to her slowly. I stand behind her, and peek onto the bowl of greenery, finding it tasty.
"I'm craving spicy tonight." I inch closer to her for getting the thing i need out from the cabinet above her, the bottle of pepper and chilly flakes. She smiles for some soft seconds, paying attention to every words i speak. I sprinkle some of it on my fresh leaves, and june steps here to add the olives to the salad. I make sure it's spicy enough for my liking and once this satisfies me, i sigh, pushing the pepper sprinkler away from me.
Walking to the dining table to keep this bowl on it, i walk back to the kitchen and get out a wineglass, and pour out only half a glass, not wanting to have more since i already feel sleepy.
I notice her now searching for something i suppose are up on the shelf. "What do you need, sweetheart?" I ask, keeping the bottle of wine back inside the wooden shelf. June turns around but glances at me, still looking around everywhere, "the oven gloves. I cannot fine them...."
Since she wouldn't come to me to ask for help, i reach behind her and hold the gloves from the top, stepping away to not stumble with her. "Who kept it there?" I wear these, catching the hot steaming pot of the deliciousness to go to the dining room. I keep this down, glancing at her as she comes too, her hands carrying the plate and chopsticks for my use only. "I don't know, mister jeon..." she tells me when i for sure know she wouldn't have kept the gloves up there because she cannot even reach the upper shelf if she would stand on her tiptoes.
I slide out my chair and sit down, my mind happy and the hunger arouses even more, seeing all these food. I get the bowl of salad, and dig my fork in to begin my dinner.
"Aren't you hungry?" Looking at her standing towards the corner of this large room, i ask, swallowing the sour and spicy green leaf. "Oh..." she looks away and glances back at me if i raised an absurd question, she shakes her head.
