And by special I mean only one I have.

I grabbed a shoulder bag or whatever you wanna call them and stuffed my wallet along with chapstick, a pen and a note book for when I get bored or have an idea.

I went downstairs towards the kitchen. Nobody from upstairs was up yet so tried to be as quiet as possible while I made myself a slice of toast and buttering it, before leaving while eating.

New Orleans is so much more beautiful than what I remember from the show.

Marcel really does take care of his home. Although I do not agree with him on the witch and werewolf situation.

I mean why not make an agreement. Yes have an advantage that important, like what I do with the daylight business. They cross me, they die. Easy.

I heard grunting from an alley way as I passed. Me being me, I want to know what's going on so I followed the splotches of blood on the floor.

When I turned the corner I was shocked at what I saw but at the same time I was kinda expecting it.

"Really? Not even 24 hours and you're already in trouble." I muttered even though all of them could hear me.

"Hey." Damon grunted out from his fatal position on the ground.

"And who might you be?" Marcel asked a few.steps from Damon.

Let me give you a picture of what's happening.

Damon is on the ground with a stake in his abdomen, Marcel and a group of vampires surrounding Damon and a corpse to the side.

"Hi. I'm Elena but everyone calls me Lena. Now seeing as there's blood, a body and a stake in his stomach I'm assuming that you're not so much of besties." I said with my hands on my hips.

Marcel lifted an eyebrow whole all the other vampires looked at me as if I'm mental.

"Okay look I get that you don't like him but listen. Can you let him go? I'll call someone to come get him and keep an eye on him." I asked. i want to talk with Marcel but if Damon stays it won't go well.

I walked over to Damon and pulled out the stake getting some blood on my hand.

"And why would I do that?" Marcel asked amused.

"Yeah I wouldn't get her mad if I was you." Damon said from his place on the ground.

"Damon shut up before I stake you." I threatened while pointing the bloody stake at Damon.

"I want to make a deal with you. So you let him go and you still have me." I explained.

"Why should I trust you? You're the ones who came onto our terretory." Marcel inquired gancing at my lapiz lazuli necklace.

"Oh I'm not a vampire. So you let him go and I'll stay. Its not like I can out run you." That's not true but it's not like I'll tell him that.

Damon let out a chuckle from behind me at my lie. I swiftly turned around and stab him causing him to groan and fall to the ground.

"I didn't say anything." Damon whined, it came out squeeky.

"Okay fine. I agree to your offer. I let him go, you stay." Marcel spoke up.

"Great. I'll quickly call someone to come fetch him." I cheered walking past Marcel and retrieving my phone from my bag.

"I'm not a dog." Damon growled.

"Yeay yeah." I waved him of dialling Stefan's phone number.

Marcel had various expressions playing on his face while looking between me and Damon.

I suppressed a laugh as Stefan answered his phone.

"Hey El are you with Damon?" Stefan asked.

"Yes. Come pick him up please I'll send you our location." I said as I hung up.
