DSP 2 - Pete's Love

"Ai'Vegas! Where are you going?" That bastard didn't even look back at me. He just went straight out of the room wearing a robe, without even taking a shower.

I immediately grabbed my own robe and fixed myself a bit. Vegas looked furious before he hurriedly went out. I just know that I have to know what made him that furious or be there just in case he will lose himself again and just shoot anyone.

I went downstairs and noticed that some of the bodyguards were missing.

"Where's everyone?" I asked Kris, one of the newest bodyguards of the minor family. He's new but he's quite trusted in the Minor Family.

There are just two of them here right now. Usually, there are at least 5 bodyguards in this part of the house since Vegas wants to secure every part of the house to make sure that we are safe.

"They are at the lobby, Khun Pete. Khun Pim arrived earlier and she's being very hard to deal with because she wants to see Khun Vegas." Kris told me.

Khun Pim? Isn't that the other wife of Khun Kan? What is she doing here?

"Is Vegas already there?"

"Yes, Khun Pete."

I hurriedly walked towards the lobby. The closer I get, the clearer I hear a woman's voice.

"You have to let me stay here, at least! Can't you see? I'm about to give birth to the child of your father! This is your sibling!" I heard Khun Pim shouting.

When I arrived at the lobby, I saw Khun Pim being held by two bodyguards and Vegas standing in front of her. Now, what's happening here?

"I'm not related to you in any way. You're just my father's woman who I'm sure he just got because he's bored. And that child?" Vegas pointed at her big belly and damn, she'll probably give birth soon. "Do you think I'm that stupid to believe that your child is my father's? I'm well aware that you're just milking money from him and you're just using that little burden in your belly to have some of his assets." Vegas said furiously.

I walked closer to him and held his arm. Vegas looked at me and I can see his sharp eyes not subsiding. He must be very mad.

"How about this one?" Khun Pim asked while pointing at me. How did I even got involved in this? "He's from the major family, right? How can he be here when he's clearly working for that Korn? How can you even let him stay here when he's not related to you?!" Khun Pim shouted.

I didn't even notice that Vegas already took a step forward closer to her. "How dare you question me? I can do whatever I want to do! This is my house and I would let in people who I wanted to! And you and that little brat you're carrying are not one of those people. So, leave now before I do something that will make you regret coming here." Vegas signaled the bodyguards to take her away and he turned around to grab my hands and dragged me away.

"How can you be so sure?! Are you that blind? Everyone has left you already. If there's someone who'd regret here, it would be you, Ai'Vegas. The minor family who is already considered as a weakling from the start already lost its wings and there's no way you can survive from your father's enemies. They will surely come for you. And that person who you're holding hands with? How can you be so sure that he's not one of them? You know damn well how loyal Korn's bodyguards are. Sooner or later, that lousy bodyguard will also betray and leave you. Just wait and see."

With that, Vegas let go of my hand and immediately stepped closer to Khun Pim and held her face with his hand, gripping tightly on her chin and cheeks.
