DSP 4 - Troubles of an LDR

"Good morning, Khun Vegas."

"Good morning, Khun Marisa."

The business trip we will have is a joined corporate business travel. There are 3 other businessmen that would accompany me to visit Chiang Rai to check the warehouses where we can easily keep and transport the products across boarders especially between Myanmar and Laos as what Mr. Fox said.

"Wow, Khun Marisa. You are stunning as always. Oh, how's your father?" Khun Chen, one of the youngest businessman I know said. He's probably a little younger than Kim.

Khun Marisa giggled. "Oh, you look good yourself as well, Khun Chen. Dad is just fine. He has some matter to take care of in California, so he asked me to go instead."

"It's good that you came with us instead of him. Mr. Fox can be very perfectionist sometimes, you know?" Khun Tham said jokingly. This man is probably a bit older than my father. He has done few business with us in the past.

"I am well aware about that, Khun Tham. That's why he bought this new jet plane just for this business trip. Since he's the one who arranged this business trip, he wants you to be comfortable. Especially Khun Vegas." Khun Marisa said then she smiled at me. I smiled back at her.

"Oh ho. Why do we have some favoritism going on here, huh? What's with Khun Vegas, Khun Marisa?" Khun Chen asked.

"Well, my dad said that Khun Vegas is his favorite business partner. He told me a lot of stories about Khun Vegas and his father. Looks like he trusts their family so much." She looked at me and laughed.

Mr. Fox has been our shareholder since I was still little. My father used to go to a lot of business trips with him before. Now that dad is not around anymore, I have to do this business for our family and associate with other businessmen like Mr. Fox.

"Anyway, we still have to go through an hour flight to Chiang Rai. Shall we go inside?" Khun Marisa said and the four of us wasted no time and ride the jet plane.

"P'Pete, I'm already getting dizzy. Can you sit down and stop walking around?" Macau complained. He came to our room because he's bored and alone in his own room.

"I'm just trying to digest the food I ate earlier, Macau." I told him.

"Which food? Your nails? You've been biting on them for how many minutes already, Phi. What's wrong with you?" Macau got up from the couch and walked towards me.

"Nothing. I'm just worried about Vegas."

Macau laughed. "He's been away for 2 hours and you already can't stop thinking about him. Eww, people in love are the worst." He acted like he's gonna throw up.

"Hey! How can you say that? You have never been in love so you wouldn't understand."

"Who told you I haven't? Of course I have, Phi! I am very famous at school, you know? There are a lot of people chasing me but of course I only like one person." He suddenly blushed after saying that.

"Who?"

"You don't know them! Whatever. I just wanna say that you don't have to worry about Hia at all. He's used to going to business trips and he has his bodyguards with him anyways. So, you can now sit down and play mobile games with me." Macau sat me down on the couch and hand me his phone. "Here, you can play the next level and I'll play after you."

I grabbed his phone and tried my best to concentrate on the game.

I wonder what is Vegas doing now. Did Khun Marisa come along too? Why haven't Vegas called me? He rarely update me these days.
