Pete always see Vegas as a very smart person. Even though his father often called him stupid and good for nothing, Pete still thinks that Vegas has the most wit among the sons of Theerapanyakun family. He's observant, wise, competitive and a goal setter.
Kinn always asked Pete to spy on someone when he was still a bodyguard of the main family. Everytime he spies on someone, Pete always had something to report back to his boss. This made Kinn trust Pete more when it comes to spying someone, so he always sent Pete.
Pete was always confident on spying, so when Kinn asked him to spy on the oldest son of the minor family, he wasn't that nervous. But to Pete's surprise, everytime he spies on Vegas, the man always spots him and Pete had to think of a way to save his life and escape from the mysterious and cold stare of the man.
From then onwards, Pete knew that Vegas is a smart person.
But why is he so surprised when Vegas brought him to Chen's birthday party? As what Pete said, Vegas is very smart and there's no way that Vegas isn't aware of what was going on between Pete and Chen (it's not like something is really going on between them but you know what Pete means).
"You know Khun Chen, right? It's his birthday."
Pete's neck almost broke when he looked at Vegas after he said that.
He knows?! God, Pete. Of course he knows! I'm so stupid.
Pete wasn't able to say anything back. He doesn't know what to say.
"Sawadee Krub, Khun Vegas."
Pete looked where the voice came from and he feels like he's seeing a ghost. He just want the ground to swallow him at this moment.
Vegas got up from sitting then buttoned his coat. "Wadee, Khun Chen."
Chen smiled at him then looked at Pete. "I'm surprised that Khun Vegas actually attended my birthday party. I'm glad."
Pete doesn't know what to do. He probably looks like an idiot right now for being so flabbergasted.
It's not the time to act stupid, Pete
Pete got up from his seat and decided to wai at Chen. "Sawadee Krub, Khun Chen. Suksanwankerd na Krub."
(to 'wai' is to put your palms together '🙏' and place them in front of your chest, you can place them above your head, on forehead, nose, below your chin or on your chest, depends on the status of the person you are wai-ing to. The higher your hands are, the more it symbolizes respect)

"I'm glad you came, Khun Pete. But I'm very surprised that Khun Vegas came along too." Chen said.
Vegas wrapped his arms around Pete's waist and pulled him closer which surprised Pete. "Of course I have to come. You invited my boyfriend, so assume that I'm invited as well. Is that right?"
Pete bit his lower lip so hard. How did Vegas know? He made sure to delete all of Chen's messages on his phone, so how did Vegas know? Pete just wanted to faint at this moment.
Chen chuckled. "It's true. I invited Khun Pete because I wanna talk to him. We met at the bakeshop the other day and we had no chance to catch-up. So, I thought of just inviting him here, hoping that both of us could talk." He said then smiled at Pete.
Vegas grip on Pete's waist tighten.
Fuck! Vegas didn't know about that! Why did Khun Chen tell him?!
