"I am like the snow, everybody hates how cold I am. There's  no one colder than one who has lived all his life in the shadows of the living. This must be a dream." I said to myself in disbelief.

I slowly walked towards the figure who alone wandered. A lot of questions started overtaking my mind, but my curiosity was the biggest.

As I got close enough I saw the figure, it was a boy.

I hid quickly behind a tree.

Why would he wander alone on these woods? Is he lost? Is he an angel that the heavens sent to rescue me from this frosted hell?

He looked at the tree I was hiding like he knew someone was following him.

"Come out I won't hurt you." His voice was so beautiful, like a flower growing in the snow. It sounded warm but strangely cold at the same time. Contradicting in it's own perfect way. What an interesting being. But one thing is for sure, he isn't  as cold as I am.

I slowly stepped away from my safe haven, my hair covering my face.

How could someone possibly acknowledge my presence? I slowly looked up and he was there right in front of me. He placed my hair behind my ears so he could see my face. His hands were soft and warm. I did the mistake to look into his eyes. My heart skipping a beat.

His eyes were perfect, a deep blue sea of emotions but the one that shone the brightest was worry. His hair wasn't white as snow it was silver as the moon.

"Why are you alone in this weather?" He asked slowly as if his voice went any higher I was gonna break. Was this really true?

"I live here..." I muttered awkwardly.

"Hey, let me take you to your house. Your family is going to be worried crazy about you." He said offering me his hand. I looked at it as a newfound surge of emotions appeared inside of me. I took it softly as we started walking down the snowy path.

"Um... Can I ask you something?" I said looking at the never ending snow.

"Sure." He said calmly. I noticed that every time he talked his warm voice would create fog.

"What's this thing you call... family?" He suddenly stopped, looking at me in disbelief.

"Family is the people that surround you, that care for you. Not necessarily your parents but it can be someone who raised you since you were little. In my case my family were my friends." He smiled warmly like if he just remembered something.

"Well I don't really have anyone... I was left in these woods since I was 6 years old and I don't exactly remember what happened before that. I've been looking for a single being here to help me but I never found one. You are the very first I've seen." I said timidly.

"Well at least show me where you live." I nodded and started to walk through the snow.

All the way to my place I saw he was worried sick about someone he's never seen in his life.

When we arrived a the small cabin. I opened the door revealing a little green sofa and a box of matches with two candles.

"Wait do you really live here?" I simply nodded.

"All these things were left by some people who apparently used to own it but I never saw them. So I took it because it was hard sleeping outside. I guess this is the warmest it can get."

"What's your name?" He asked guiding me to the sofa.

"Neva..." I said still not believing there's a human next to me.

"Lovely name. I'm Killua, crap you are really cold." "How come you don't have frostbite?" Again he looked worried but I just shrugged at his question.

Maybe this frosted hell just wants me to suffer in the cold but won't let me die already.

"Well I gotta go tomorrow but if you want you could come with me, this is just inhumane. Who would be so cruel to leave you here... Alone?"

Wait is this true? Am I going to be able to leave the snow or is just a sick dream I'm not waking from...

I bit my lip, putting too much pressure. Realizing it started bleeding.

"Stop that! You are bleeding." He said wiping the blood from my lip. He stared at my eyes like he was trying to decipher a code. I looked away but he suddenly did the unthinkable.

He hugged me... His warm embrace made me feel something I've never felt before . Love... I've only felt hatred and sadness. I loved how his warmness dominated my cold interior. He made me melt.

Have I fallen for the lone wanderer?
