*BOOM*
*CRASH*
was the last thing she heard before she passed out. 'What was i doing before I passed out again? oh that's right i was fighting something.'
Meria took a deep breath and slowly sat up. She looked around at the damage around her to find she wasn't in the place she passed out in but instead in a clearing in a forest near a river. It was a beautiful sight to see, but then she remembered "OH SHIT!" Meria shouted 'my staff, where is it.'
She looked around and found it in the river. She got up and ran to it crouching down to pick it up and looked at it to see its condition. When she inspected it she noticed a crack in the crystal of the staff "darn it!" Meria hissed. Since the crystal broke the staff no longer has any magic and is now just a stick attack to a cracked stone.
'I should get out of this forest and figure out where I am ' she thinks getting up from her crouched position groaning when getting up due to the impact of the fall making her sore. "*sigh* Let's get this over with" she whispers to her self while she exits the clearing and enters the forest.
Looking around she notices she's in a spruce forest, and dear god did Meria find it beautiful, 'I've never been in such a beautiful area before, where ever I am must be far from home because last I checked they cut down all the forests to build housing and shops' she thinks in astonishment.
The forest had all kinds of flowers inhabiting it the most prominent ones being alliums. She stoped when she noted animals running wild and free around her, not seeming to fear her presence. Not wanting to bother them, she moved on.
The air smelt truly fresh and you could hear birds chirp in the distance. It seemed so eerily familiar yet so different at the same time, it felt peaceful and calming. She loved it, so she took a moment just to take it all in and just breath.
*CRACK*
a branch snapped to her left
"Hello?"...
