The Unseen

Title: The Unseen

Idea:

Takes place in a small dystopian town. Everything is odd and dysfunctional but everyone is raised to not see it or say anything about it and just act normal. This is by a daily injection that is placed on everyone early in the morning every day.  Everyone is happy and cherry even when they suffer pain. If you speak out about pain whether it is physical or emotional you are ignored and said to be an ' infected' and ignored. Anyone who is labeled infected is the only one who can see within the crakes, and everything wrong with the town and how the town's government is controlling everyone. The problem is every time they say anything about it or tries to stop or change the horrible cycle of the town they are taken down by guards and then killed or tortured into silence.

The main character is a 17-year-old girl. The girl lives by herself and provides for herself. Her parents are not in the picture and therefore she isn't in the system of the government. She is under the radar and has stayed like that since she was born. Her parents were infected's and told her everything before they were found and taken away. As far as she knows they are dead. She goes to a run-down school that isn't founded too much and the only people who go there are really poor families or orphans. The government doesn't keep too much attention to them or that part of town and therefore is called the safe heaven for infected's who see everything but can't do or say anything about it. 

But the main character has a crush on a boy on the other side, where the sun shines the brightest and the people are the happiest. She knows enough to know that she shouldn't like him and that someone like him is not fit for someone like her. She is too different and odd, she is an infected someone who sees everything while he sees none and lives everything ignorant of everything around him. And while her friends tell her again and again that she shouldn't like him and she rather find someone pretty but infected to date she can't help but stalk him with her eyes when he so happens to be at similar places she goes to. 

One faithful day however she isn't aware of the fact that he also found an interest in her and they both bump into each accident and thought the conversation is very awkward it leads to a first date for the both of them. During that time a lot of her friends and people like her are being captured, which leads her to be afraid of being found out. She goes to the first date which is a coffee with a huge library at the back. They stay there for hours and but then something goes wrong and the guards come bursting demanding everyone to be scanned, which ultimately leads her to freak out and basically have a panic attack. 

She admits to the guy that she is infected, to her surprise he doesn't seem to be afraid or disgusted with her. Instead, he calmly thinks of solutions and helps her get safely out of the library, and proceeds to run quickly back home. This puts a target on their backs though and he is now unable to go back home and put his family in danger which she feels guilty about. Though he reassures her it's not and that either way, he'll rather be in this situation than let the government kill her and that no one deserves what she has been through.

They come up on the spot to expose the government to their manipulation of everyone in town. Though they don't how to even start. She then tells him since he has no place to go he can stay with her. They then talk the whole night and get to know more about each other. The next day she says that they have to change their appearance since the guards will be everywhere looking for them. So he leads him to her side of town, where a lof infected people live at. They then shop for new clothing, and she dyes her hair dark hair with a mix of different reds with her dark hair and glasses with brow contacts. He is given a lot messier and wild hairstyle and put in blue contacts. 

She then leads him to the hideout she and her friends meet at always and calls out for them to come too. She then introduces him to her friends most are delighted but some are wary of him since he is different than them. One particular friend is cold and isn't afraid to let everyone know she doesn't like him at all. While everyone spends a few days for any info of where their frined is being held the MC and her crush research a way into the government base and who to expose them to the whole town. 

After a few days, the MC finds out that one of her friends was found out when out getting found and now is nowhere to be found. To no once surprised since they knew this would happen, they don't want to lose him so they decided to discover where she is being held and help and rescue her out of there before it was too late. Everyone teams up and some are in charge to interrupt radio signals, others over net messages and some are to go out and see what anyone knows or what they have seen about it. 

Everyone proceeds to find anything to help and rescue their friends and after trying to expose the truth about everything to the public.

Was in a dream a while back, I have two versions of this, this is the adventurous and action one. I'll put the less dramatic and more sad version of it tomorrow.
