Emily's POV
It was the last period and it was free while I was thinking about my naiveness. ( is that even a word)
Why did I like even get into their fight. And even if I interfarred, why did I left like nothing happened.
Then the bell started to ring .
"Thank god school's over" I said
And stepped out of the comfy classroom to the windy coldy outside. (Again is that even a word)
I had to cross the parking lot which was the worst thing ever.

I saw max Collins and his friends leaning against a car and shouting like mad rats .
"Heyyyy look who is this ,the little baby nerd who always interferes in every thing and now doesn't know what'll be the price" max said and towered in front of me .
His gang members circling me as if I am a piece of fresh meat .
"What do you want max?" I asked politely
"I don't want anything . But just tell me that have your parents returned home from the 'big trip' that they always go to "he said cunningly . I knew what he was trying to say .
Tears were forming in my eyes .
"None of your bloody business " I said to myself but it kinda was very loud .
"I heard you" he said angrily
" now a stupid parentless bloody orphan will tell me what is my business " he screamed and everyone was looking at us. I was on the verge of crying . I don't why am I even crying . I am used to all these insults , stares etc etc but today he said about my parents and this is it now.
" shut up " I muttered
" I again heard it" he smirked
" now pay the consequence " he said .
This means -
He took a stone and aimed it at me .
I waited for the pain but it never came.
" Don't you even dare " someone(my saviour) said
Or should I say
HUNTER MATHEWS HIMSELF .
" don't you know that hitting a girl is a sign of madness" hunter screamed on max's face.
" why do you even bloody care for such a stupid loser . Just stay out of it and back off or-" max said
"Or what ? What would you do?WHAT WOULD YOU DO" HUNTER slapped max's chest and he fell to the ground .
"DONT EVER MESS WITH ME AGAIN" hunter screamed at max who was crying with pain
When hunter looked at me I gave a weak smile becoz of the tears.
He rolled his eyes , held my hand and dragged me out of the parking lot.
