"Beomgyu, get away from him." booms a familiar voice and Taehyun looks over to see enraged versions of Taehyung and Jimin he has never seen before, but with caution residing in their every step as they approach.

Dino glances over and, with being momentarily distracted, Beomgyu darts out a hand to strike.

"Look out!" Taehyun lunges forward, tackling Beomgyu to the floor as the sound of a gunshot causes everyone to freeze. Wide-eyed, Beomgyu looks up at his rescuer and Taehyun gives him a small smile and shakes his head to let him know he wasn't hit.

Following the trail of where the bullet came from stands a petite, fierce looking man with a small line of smoke rising from the end of his gun. With his appearance comes two others, surrounding the six in a box, all with guns in their hands ready to fire at the slightest of movements.

Jungkook recognizes the shorter as Lee Jihoon or, as he is famously known in the hunter society, Woozi. JK masks his rage with a stoic face as he thanks his past self, a JK of two nights ago, for deciding to not cut his nails. He uses his thumbnail to break through the softness of his skin on his middle finger and a thin stream of blood slowly seeps out.

"What are you guys doing here?" Dino asks.

The shorter man's stone cold expression opens to speak, "Got finished early, so we figured we'd come and help. But, when we went to where your team was," he pulled up his arm and cocked his head on the barrel of his gun, "imagine the surprise and worry we felt to see our Lee Chan. missing."  

"Where's Dokyeom and Seungkwan?" Lee Chan, or Dino, asks.

One of the two devilishly handsome men opposite Dino speaks up, "Helping the rest of your team out," he says, articulating each syllable with a small, charming smile.

"And we're here to help you." the other finishes, with a kind of higher pitched cadence in the rhythm of his voice that contrasts to the dark situation in a playful kind of manor.

"Don't know why you thought you wouldn't be needed there, especially when you guys were assigned to take down Hongjoong's guys." says Woozi.

Dino rolls his eyes, "I just wanted to check if my buddy," he nods his head over to Beomgyu who attempts to ignore it by focusing on Taehyun, "was still alive." He switches his glance to the one with the princely smile, "Anyway, who's to say you don't need he-" but a gunshot cuts off the younger's words and a thin string of blood slithering towards the princely man looses its form and splatters to the ground.

"Dammit Jeonghan-hyung! Why do you always gotta take my cool moment!"

An innocent expression falls over Jeonghan's face and he pouts his lip, "I was just trying to help Joshua." Then he winks at his counter who replies with a smug smile. Woozi rolls his eyes but in the quick second it takes to do so, everything happens at once.

With the lack of focus being on Yoongi and the others, the mint haired man takes the opportunity of distraction and claps his hands above his head. All eyes go to him but it's too late. When he opens his palms, a growing ball of fire has formed and aims for the intruders. Dino, and the two on the sides, lunge out of the way while Woozi ditches his gun and whips out a silver double edged spear that he spins in front of him to evade the flames.

Jeonghan quickly gets back on his feet with his eyes worriedly locked on Joshua, who is a bit slower to regain his balance.

"What are you looking at?" Taehyung disappears from where he was to reappear in front of Jeonghan, landing a powerful punch across his face that knocks him back to the ground. Jeonghan uses the momentum of the fall to swing his legs around himself and sweep over Taehyung's feet.

As this is happening, Jimin focused on creating an illusion of Jeonghan getting up from dodging Yoongi's fire and running over to help Joshua, who gladly accepted it.

Out of the corner of his eye, Joshua sees the vampire who created the fire, Yoongi, run towards Woozi with blazing fists.

"Did you get burned?" Joshua asks the illusion Jeonghan who shakes his head and holds out his hand. When Joshua reaches out to grab it, his body is shocked by an intense jolt of electricity that takes away his consciousness. The illusion fades away to Taehyun, who nods at his cousin.

"If we survive this, we can hold him captive for questioning." the younger suggests.

"Good idea. Put him in that corner and I'll create an illusion that'll hide him." and Taehyun does what he says.

"Taehyun! Jimin! Mind lending us a hand?" The cousins look over at the sound of JK's voice to see him and Beomgyu not only dealing with Dino, but two other powerful fighters who, their senses tell them, are hunters.

Suited best for mid to far ranged fighting, Jungkook doesn't seem to be having the easiest time dodging the two new hunter's close countered attacks. The hunter with sharp cheekbones and nose wields a pair of octagon sai blades and is fighting alongside a shorter, more rounded faced man using a katana.

Taehyun assumes that the two newly appeared hunters must be Dokyeom and Seungkwan, leaving him worried about the fate of Wooyoung and the others. Looking over to his cousin, Jimin shares a similar expression.

"Come on," Jimin says, "we have to focus on defeating them, then we can go find Woo and his guys." Taehyun nods and together, the two lunge into action.

Beomgyu is busy countering attacks from Dino, who now has a pair of twin pistols, looking for any opening to strike a weak point on the other's body. Feeling a soft warmth press against his back, Beomgyu smiles and is rejuvenated by the familiarity and thinks back to a pinky promise he and Taehyun made when they were in middle school: "We will always have the other's back, no matter what."

Instructed to keep watch over the unconscious captive, Yeonjun observes the small battle without harm with the help of Jimin's illusion to blend him into the wall. He can't believe how skilled everyone is and knows exactly how to use their abilities to their utmost capability. This personal time of "quiet" for the vampire has drifted his mind to the wonder of Soobin: Is he ok? Where is he? Does he and the other purebloods know what's going on down here? They must or else how did the one with the wolf familiar know...Please let Soobin be ok-

An agonizing scream snaps Yeonjun out of his thoughts.
