"Good evening, princess." Luke greeted his best mate as he placed a green tea bag inside the boiling water.

Michael stared at him for a few seconds, massaging his forehead before fully stepping into the kitchen. "My head hurts." He complained, allowing his body to completely fall on the chair behind him.

"I can tell." The one with blue eyes answered. "Here." He continued, handing him some water and an aspirin.

"Thanks." He swallowed the pill as Luke sat beside him. "Ashton probably told you what happened, didn't he?"

"Parts of it." He replied, pushing the hot beverage towards Michael. "Are you okay?"

"No." Mikey confessed with a broken tone. "But I will be."

"Is it my fault? Because if it is I-"

"No, it's not." He cut Luke off immediately. "I mean... Your letters were definitely the straw that broke the camel's back."

The other lad frowned. "What do you mean? Were you guys already having problems?"

"Yeah, it's just..." He paused to take a deep breath, pressing his fingertips on his forehead once again. "Fuck, I can't believe he did this... Especially when I was super transparent about what Crystal did to me."

"Crystal? But she cheated on you?"

"And so did he... I guess I have a type." He murmured, taking a sip of his green tea.

Luke nodded. He looked away in discomfort, which made Michael somewhat suspicious.

"You don't seem surprised."

"Huh?" The tallest shook his head, looking back at the lad sitting next to him.

Michael clicked his tongue. "You already knew, didn't you?"

Silence reigned over the room as the two gentlemen stared at each other.

Luke did not want to say a word. However, everything became very clear to the second bloke.

"So I was right... He is cheating on me. I mean, I had my doubts, but now..."

Hemmings bit his lower lip. "Mike, I am so, so sorry-"

"Who is it? The person he is cheating on me with?"

Luke stared at his friend quietly, sadness written all over his face as soon as he saw tears building up in Michael's eyes.

"I- I don't think I should-"

"No, the least you can do right now is be honest with me. You owe me."

He is right, Luke does owe him big time.

Plus, what kind of best friend would he be if he decided to keep this secret any longer?

Who is he trying to protect?

Two people he genuinely does not like?

So what?

So what if Sierra and Calum decide to interfere in his relationship with Ashton?
