Ethan's PoV
My eyes jolt open as I heard my stupid alarm, blaring through my ears. I left my phone on last night, from all the paperwork I've done. The alarm was followed by a notification.
Lizzie's birthday: Tomorrow, February 16
My eyes widened. I remembered setting an alarm about it about a month ago. I wanted to be well prepared for her first birthday with us as a couple. I stand at my messy table, cleaning up and preparing. I got my car keys and dashed to the town square.
While I was driving, a thought came into my mind. "Lizzie Olsen, queen of my heart, will you do the honors of making me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" I imagine myself kneeling in front of her. Man, that'd be the best moment of my life. I sure hope she will say yes.
"Wait, what if I...." Is a deep thought my face etched that relaxed into a smile.
After purchasing stuff I need, I sent an invitation to all her friends and co-workers for a surprise party tomorrow. I even rented a private function room for the event. Some guards for security, too. I want this to be perfect.
Just like all the trendy birthday decorations nowadays, I decorated the stage with a throne-like chair at the middle with the other decorations around it.

Perfect. I hope she'll like it. I'll just rearrange some of the decorations and we're good to go.
I couldn't wait until tomorrow, so I posted at midnight.
