Ethan's PoV

Lizzie and I had always been that kind of people who loves going somewhere, enjoying each other's company. Sometimes we're also referred to as "holiday people". Christmas is both our favorite time of the year.

I just found it out when she told me. But what will our first Christmas look like? What would it feel to really experience it now, together?

"Baby! I'm here!" I knock at my girlfriend's front door. It's freezing out here. Snowstorms come and go ever since the start of December. Snow is evident all around. Wherever you look at? Snow.

I hear rushing footsteps coming nearer by the front door. Soon enough, the door opened and I was greeted by a sweet kiss.

"Hey babe." she greeted. "Your lips are so warm, can I try again?" She smirked. "Okay, just one." she leaned in once more. "Okay, that's enough. Come on in."

I stepped inside to hear neat cracklings of firewood in her fireplace. Half of the house is already decorated for Christmas.

"I'm making some hot cocoa. You want some?" I take a seat by the living room. "Yep, sounds good. But on second thought, I wanna help." I stood up and followed her to the kitchen.

"You got mini marsmallows?"

"Yup."

"Perfect."

"Want me to help you decorate, too?" I say while carefully taking a sip from my hot cocoa. "Oh sure but, I don't wanna rush it though. It's still 3 weeks before Christmas."

"There's nothing wrong with being early." I gestured outside, where soft snow are falling everywhere. "Besides, the season calls for it."

"Tell you what, I help you, then you can also help me decorate my house." I added.

"Deal." A grin was evident on her face.

"Alright, where's the rest of the decor?"

"In the attic."

"Got it." I sprinted upstairs and pulled a string revealing a hidden trapdoor, and a ladder slowly dropped down.

"Careful, those are heavy." she warned. "Noted. Probably nothing I can't handle."

I carried the box that are a bit heavy. I slowly placed them downstairs. "Oh, that's the tree's box. "She opened it, revealing parts of green leaves sticking out. "Help me place the base?"

"Of course." I pulled out the base and started to help her build. I found a red christmas ball so I stuck it on my nose. "You're ridiculous." she snorted.

"Rudolph's here! An early Christmas gift." I exclaimed. "Oh, what a sweet gift it is indeed." she placed a kiss in my cheeck and continued to rummage through the box.

A few fixing and placing later, the tree was finally complete. Then she approached the remaining box, and got several wreaths inside. "We'll be placing these by the doors."

"On it." I got two of them and placed it on the front and back doors.

Then the final touch, a Santa in the sleigh and reindeers light set, which goes on her roof. And of course, I'll be the one to climb her roof that's full of snow.

"Careful, okay? Don't come back injured." she said while guiding me out her window. "I got this babe." I carefully aligned the one piece-light set, slowly adjusting it to see if it's on the center. I did two steps backwards, then I heard Lizzie yell. "Ethan!" It happened so fast as I found myself falling from the roof, then to the soft patch of snow at the ground.

I heard Lizzie running towards me. "Are you okay?" she tried to help me up. "Yeah baby, I'm okay. The snow is soft." I smiled.

"Be careful, idiot! My gosh what am I gonna do with you?" She faked a face palm. I kissed her. "You're the reason I became an idiot. Your aura is too relaxing for me that my mind shrank into a peanut-sized brain."

"Oh my gosh babe, that's sooo cringe." she laughed. "Oh yeah?" I suddenly carried her bridal style. "H-hey! No fair, put me doooown!" she struggled in my arms.

I laid down the bed of snow and she followed since I was carrying her. I look at her and she looks up to me as well. "My forever idiot."

"My forever princess." we chuckled as we both stayed laying on the snow for some time.
