Before you come at me, I haven't read the books yet, I am getting them hopefully soon but I know Nick goes away for college/uni whatever you call it so I guess this is about....well the title explains it lol

charlies pov:
Nick went to uni a couple of months ago and i miss him so much, i'm pretty much lost without him by my side. Im form i have to sit next to this guy named Derek, he's nice and all but he's not nick. Ever since nick left we've always talked over the phone nearly every single day. Tonight I felt like a little bit of cheering up. I dial nicks number i know off by heart.
"Helloooooo isn't it my favourite 2nd person in the world'' nicks voice was full of happiness.
''Oh my gosh nellie doesn't count as a person, we've been over this a million times already nick! therefore im your favourite person,'' I joked
''Sure. so why'd you ring me up so late? it's like 12:23, everything all right char?'' nick said.
''Oh whoops didn't really notice the time, I'm alright just miss yiou a lot and need to ring to keep my mind off things. How's uni life going nickie?''
''I miss you too, uni is nice, boring without you. I swear i have a million assignments it's crazy!'' nick complained.
''Eww I don't want to go to uni, I know I have to but still....,'' i trail off.
''Excuse me! what about me, are you saying you don't want to come to uni now, I'm so offended''nick faked hurt.
''You know what i mean,'' i reply.
We kept talking about how life is, and asking random questions, basically wasting our time in eachothers company.
''Pineapple does not belong on pizza! Nick there is something wrong with you,'' I exclaimed.
''No you're the one who's crazy. Ok so you're saying pineapple is a fruit and it doesn't belong on pizza? What about tomato? It's a fruit, you don't hear people say it doesn't belong on pizza,''
''Fair point, but pineapple is different. Look,what else are you going to put as a base,'' I argued back
''This still isn't over,'' I could sense nick was glaring through the phone.
''IMm tir--ed,'' I said through a yawn.
''Me too, I think I should head to bed now, it's like 2 in the morning,''
''But nickkkkkk I don't want to hang up,'' I protest.
''Charlie I'm sorry but I have a big day ahead, I love you I really do but trust me if we both get to sleep now we''ll both thank me for hanging up. We can ring tomorrow,''nick replied.
''Argh fine, I love you too Nicholas,'' I said, he mumbled another 'Love you' and hanged up. I was glad I got to hear his voice I so desperatley longed for.
I feel asleep with a smile.

A/n: Hola guys again, this is a bit short but I liked this one, especially writing it. I have some other ideas that I am working on, hope you enjoyed.
