Chapter: 21

We drove the car back to my house. Of course, my mom was not home. I just sighed. It is a constant thing here recently. I do not know what she is doing, but I know it is not good! I went inside and grabbed my things from my room. I turned off the lights and headed out of the door. I locked everything up and headed to the awaiting car.
Harry and the boys all had their eyes fluttering closed! I know that they were tired from being on stage and traveling. I scooted towards Harry and rested my head on his chest. My eyes fluttered closed and I drifted off into dream world!
Someone playing with my hair and kissing my cheek awakened me. I knew that I was safely wrapped in his arms. I open my eyes to find that I am in a hotel room. How did that happen? Did he carry me up here?
I looked towards Harry's face to find him watching me. "When did I get up here?" I said in a groggy voice.
He chuckled and his voice was deep from sleep. "I carried you."
"I'm too heavy for that!" I raise my eyebrows up.
He rolled his eyes at me before he talked again. "You are not heavy! You are as light as a feather!"
It was my turn to roll my eyes. "Yeah, I'm sure!"
He did not even bother arguing because he knows that I will win! I had to smile at that thought!
"Why are you smiling?" His voice pulled me out of thought!
"I was just thinking how you aren't going to argue with me! That's because you know I hold a good case!" I smirked at him!
He propped up on elbows and rolled his eyes. "When do you have to start at that school in London?"
"Umm. I think it says November 15. Why?" I prop up on my elbow also.
"I wanted you to come back with me and move in with me." He avoids making eye contact with me. Harry is nervous! That isn’t very recent! I smiled and said, "How soon?"
His green eyes made contact with mine. He leaned forward and said, "We have to leave here in 4 days."
Four days? I bit my lip! It was a nervous habit of mine. How do I tell my mom?
I know that Harry is awaiting my answer to his question. "Of course. Let me go tomorrow and tell my mom.."
I hope he did not notice the way I said, "Mom."
Confusion flashed in his eyes. "Katie? What are you hiding from me about your mom?"
Sh*t! I mentally cursed.
I knew that I had to finally tell him about her. I told him everything. She is defiantly going to be pi**ed when she finds out that I am going to London to study music. I am so dreading telling her this! She does not want me to study music. She wants me to do something I do not want to do! I am tired of her telling me what to do! I need to stand up for myself and that is what I am going to do!
He was mad when I told him! He did not understand how a mother could treat her kid that way! That has never stopped my mother! Ever since dad left, she has been like this! Dad had an affair with someone when they were married. It tore mom up bad! My step-mom is not so bad! I really like her! She has been there for me when I cried about things mom has said. I made her promise to keep them quiet from my dad! He would be so mad! I haven’t talked to my dad much. I just don’t care to. I don’t get why he left us.
I was so sleepy! Harry turned off the light. I was out in a matter of seconds.

I cannot believe that her mom has treated her like that! That just makes me angry! Why would a mother act like that! I knew she was tired of talking about it so I turned the light off and she snuggled against my chest.
I watched as her body rose and fell. It was quite calming! The show tonight rocked!! I love our fans! Without them, we would not be where we are today! I really did not expect to see Katie at the venue. I was super shocked, but happy! I missed her so much! Without her has been horrible!
The guys kept telling me, "Trust us mate! You'll see her very soon!"
I laughed lightly! Those bastards knew the whole bloody time! I will have to pay them back later! Louis was the one with the biggest smile on his face today! I should have known that it was because he had a plan! Those sneaky bastards! I cannot believe them!
I need to stop thinking and go to sleep! I am bloody knackered! I hope she tells her mom tomorrow or the next day, because we have a limited time here before we head back to London! I want her to return with us! This was the last show tonight and by far, it was the best! I got the love of my life back again!! I cannot help but fall asleep happy!
