The Demon Inside

Chapter 2

  "Good your awake" the monster whispered.
   "What did you do to me?" I whispered. My voice sounded so dry and pained. He laughed at my pathetic attempt to talk. I listned for any other voice but there was none just the pained Phoenix groaning slightly.The man stopped laughing and kicked Phoenix gently.Immediately Phoenix woke up.
  "Right since you are both awake, allow me to introduce myself-"
  "What did you do to us?" I reattempted my voice getting slowly stronger,but still not as nice as the monsters voice that sounded like velvet. Phoenix nodded in agreement not daring to speak out of place.
  "As I was saying my name is Lucus,and I just gave you both immortality sorry it hurt so much but at least you get to live for eternity." He smiled a angel like grin.
"W-What, so we're vampires?!" Phoenix whispered. Even though he whispered it I could still hear the alarm and the sense of shock in his voice. I knew that Lucus knew that too because of the smirk that appeared on his pale face.
  "Awesome." I whispered as said that Lucus had to bite back a laugh and Phoenix shot me a look of disgust.
  "Here look." Lucus whispered to the two of us. I stared at him as his hazel eyes shifted to a warm yellow.He then opened his smiling mouth and his ice white canines enlarged into ice white fangs.
  He then stood up our eyes followed him as he strided back into a bright pool of sunlight.I felt my mouth drop open in awe as I saw his blonde hair and pearl pale skin sparkle in the warm sunlight. I looked across at Phoenix to find that he was wearing the same expression as me,but I still knew that he was terrified of what he saw and what he had become.
  "You like?" Lucus asked a grin engulfing his face.
When we didn't answer Lucus sighed,rolled his amber eyes and stepped back out of the sunlight.
  I snapped out of my trance closed my mouth as I had just remembered that it was still hanging open and then nodded slowly. My words had failed me.
