After we finished me and Dray walked through the forest slowly, heading back to the mansion.
" You killing that bear brought back memories of myself." Dray said.
" How?" I asked.
"I could see that you desperately wanted to kill that bear. I was like that. I would do anything for blood.So I killed hundreds of people in a month when Lucus created me. I felt so powerful, so superior. But then The Guard noticed-"
"Who are The Guard?" I interrupted.
"The Guard are a group of ruthless vampires who protect the secret.So when I went on my exciting killing spree they caught me."
"What did they do to you?" I asked.
Dray rolled up his hoodies sleeves so that I could see his pale stone arms. I noticed lots of bite marks and claw marks scared into his skin.
"They tortured me, they wanted to make sure that I wouldn't do anything like that again." He said almost tearful.
"What did that?"
"Mostly newborns, some wolves, but I remember 3 people you know that also tortured me."
"Who?" But as soon as I asked the question, I knew the answer.
"Lucus,James and Angel."
I nodded sadly.
"But why I don't know, they saved me after. I told them that I saw them but they convinced me that I didn't."
"Does human blood taste better than bears blood?" I asked thirsty for blood.
"Your life as a vampire doesn't start until you've tasted human blood."
