It was over a week now since my argument with Phoenix, and with each day that passed, the bond between Phoenix and Lucus tightened. Phoenix couldn't even look at me anymore.
Lucus had dragged Phoenix and Bree out to hunt with himself, James and Angel. I knew for a fact that it was a matter of days before the war broke out and Phoenix would be dead.
For all the time the others were out hunting me and Dray filled it with training. He taught me how to fight and that the best way to kill was by sneaking up behind the enemy. We trains against whatever we could find, but got the most gain against bears.
What I would do was sneak around them the kick them in the back, breaking their spines so that it would be easier to twist and pull the heads off backwards. We also had to eat a lot of meat and blood to stay strong because we wouldn't have time before the war.
