We followed Lucus through the woods at insane speed jumping over fallen trees and the streams that ran through the forest. We then got to a road where a white school bus passed. I could smell blood and that made me insane.
I got ready to attack the bus,kill the children and drink all that precious scarlet blood that flowed through their bodies, when Lucus and Phoenix pulled me back like they had read my mind.
"Don't." Lucus whispered in my ear, "Control your thirst."
I pulled my arms away roughly and walked across the road glaring at the bus.
We stopped outside a mansion still in the middle of the woods. It was beautiful it was made out light grey stone and had dark green ivy running up the left hand side. The surroundings were beautiful as well. A river ran to the left of the mansion the whole area was surrounded by trees, a grey stone path lead deeper into the green forest. The paths glowed green from the the sunlight filtering through the green canopy.
"Welcome home." Lucus said looking proud.
Half a second later he was opening the door and beckoning us in. "James!" Lucus shouted.Immediately a blond haired vampire with stone cold, grey eyes appeared.
"How are they?" He asked sourly looking up and and down at Phoenix with a look of utter disgust." This one will be alright." James said nodding my way. "The other looks pathetic." James snarled slyly.
I growled in defence of my friend.
"James,enough." Lucus snarled,clenching his hand tight around James' shoulder."Go get Angel,Dray and Bree, also if you want a fight that badly,let's show Damian and Phoenix how to fight." He continued. James stared bitterly at me and Phoenix before shoving Lucus' hand off his shoulder and zoomed up the stairs in front of the door.
"Sorry about him." Lucus apologised, "He never seems to get along with the new. A fight with Dray will sort him out."
