I look up from my phone seeing Lia with her hands on her hips and a booted lip. I don't see why she's mad. If that's how I feel, that's how I feel. Ain't nobody changing my mind.

"What?"I narrowed my eyebrows at her. "What's wrong?"

"Letting his ass back into your life. Well I understand cause y'all have a baby together but nyx this mother fucker cheated on his wife with you. What makes you think he ain't gone do the same thing again to you"Lia huffed shaking her head.

"Lia I'm not stupid. If Anthony do something like that to me, he knows how ima get"I said shaking my head.

"Mhmm. Okay Nyx since nobody can't tell yo ass nothing"Lia made her way to the kitchen. "I can just feel it in my bones that this nigga gone do something to you that will hurt your feelings again"

"Lia I know. But I think this time he won't. I can tell"I sigh.

"Where his ass at now?"lia ask.

"He's in Texas. He didn't me call today which is weird"I frowned a bit.

"Maybe he busy with his family Nyx, you don't know what that man doing"Lia said while looking through the fridge.

Maybe Lia right. He can be busy with his family. Anthony probably ain't coming back home. He probably met his love of his life in Texas and bout to start a family.

"I'll text you lia. I'm bout to go pick up Nora from daycare"I got up from the couch with a blunt look. Lia snapped her finger catching my attention. "Hmm"I tilt my head to the side looking at her.

"You thinking about him, aren't you?"lia ask.

"Lia you don't understand. Anthony wasn't the guy for me at first but god putting him in my life for a reason"I said.

"Bye Lia"I shook my head opening the door walking out of Lia's house. I sigh a bit thinking about what Lia said. What if he do the same thing he did to jasmine to me? Karma is a bitch.

"Girl who you have a attitude with?"i turned around towards her while the light was red.

"Mommy I miss daddy"Nora folded her arms. "He called?"

"No not yet"I mumbled. "Maybe he's busy Nora, he'll call soon"

Nora bust out crying uncontrollably throwing her doll on the ground. "I don't want Thim to call later!"she semi yelled still crying. Once the light turn green, I took off driving back to my apartment.
