The plane landed just in time. I'm ready to get off this loud stanky ass plane. One day ima have my own jet. Me and my baby gone take trips everywhere she wanna go.

As I strolled through the airport, my mind just kept thinking about Nora and Nyx. What they doing? What they ate today? Did Nyx need any money? Did Nora need clothes? But I don't want to step on Nyx toes and make her mad. I know how she is.

Whenever I close my eyes, I can just picture me and Nyx enjoying our time together. Yeahhh, there was one time when I was with jasmine I wanted to be with Nyx so bad. I wanted to marry her. Grow a family with her. Already started that. Little Nora came along.

I grab my bag from the baggage claim then made my way outside to see where my cousin at. I sat down on the bench and scroll through my notifications till I seen a message from Nyx. "Shit"I quickly pressed it seeing a video of Nora smiling through the camera.

Nyx-"Say Hii"

Nora-"Heyy daddy, I hope tyou land safe on yo twrip to see yo tmommy"

I smiled so wide trying not to show emotions but it's too late for that.

Nora-"okay byyeeeee" and then the video ended. I texted Nyx back to let her know that I landed safe and sound in Texas.

"Ayyee!! yooo!! Cousin!!"I heard somebody yelled behind me. I turned around seeing my cousin smiling wide at me. "Come on nigga!! Yo momma and nem waiting on us!!"

"I'm coming!! Long head bih!!"I laughed. I made my way to his car struggling with my suitcase. My cousin hop out his car with that grin that always make me laugh.

"Mannn come here"he pulled me into a hug rocking me side to side. "Bruh we fucking missed you"

"I missed y'all too. Kansas gotten boring a bit"I sigh. My cousin put my suitcase in the trunk and proceed to the driver side of the car. I hop in the passenger seat feeling the AC blow on my face.

"What's been happening in Kansas? I see you ain't with your wife. Where she at?"my cousin ask.

I shook my head chuckling. "She...Bruh she pregnant"

My cousin gasp and patting my shoulder. "Congratulations cousin!!!!"he yelled.

"Mannnn no!!"

"What?"He looked at me.

"The baby ain't mine bruh. The baby for another nigga"I looked at him. "The bitch told my baby momma...."

"Wait!! So you have a baby!!"my cousin slammed the car breaks.

"Bitch watch what you doing?!!!"

"What baby Nigga?!!"he looked at me wide eyed.

"I have a baby with this chick I been been messing with. Her name Nyx. Beautiful ass"I smiled.

"Damn you simpin"he laughed.

"Yeah man I know. I wanted to be with her instead of jasmine"I said.

"You know I didn't like jasmine. She was too bouje for you"

"Bouje?"I laughed.

"We all know you a hood nigga. She wasn't gonna last"he shook his head laughing.

"Bruh drive us home so I can see moms and them"

"Momma!"I yelled out for my mother. I can hear them all in the kitchen laughing and talking. "Momma you heard me calling me"I caught her attention.

"Oh my god!! My baby's home!!!"she ran to me hugging me tightly. "Ohhh it feels so nice to hug you again"she sniffle.

"I know. I miss your hugs"I sniffle as well.

"Please don't cry in here! She done cried enough!"my aunt pushed my momma out the way tryna hug me. "Ohhhh we all missed you"

"I know, I know"I smiled. "What y'all cooking in here?"

"Your favorite"my mom lead me to the stove. "You remember I use to make y'all pick them corns from Mr.Tommy's field. Ohh those was some good ass corn"

"Yeah and Mr.Tommy died cause somebody here slept with him"my cousin looked at his mother causing my aunt to slap him.

"You shut yo fucking ass up. Nah I done told you that man slept with me while his wife was long gone to Chicago for a family visit"my aunt explained.

"And she came back to a dead husband"my mom laughed causing my aunt to rolled her eyes. "Son why don't you go freshen up. The food gone be ready"

"What's for dinner?"I ask her.

"Leftovers"she looked at me crazy.

"Ain't gone be no leftovers when I'm here"my cousin laughed but got slap by my mom.

"Go yo ass by Lenora and take care them 6 kids y'all have. Tell Lenora to cook for you"my mom continue stirring her pot. My cousin shook his head walking out the house. "Speaking of wife"she turned to me. "Where's jasmine?"

"Ma..."I sat down sighing heavily. "That's the reason why I came back home unexpectedly"

"What happened?"she sat down in front of me.

"I kinda messed up first but she really messed up. Can't take her back"I shook my head. "Jasmine slept with another man and got pregnant. Came home and told me I was the father. Entire time I wasn't"

"You should of called me then and there. I should of beat her ass"

"Momma no. We all know you have arthritis"i chuckle. "I'm not the father of her baby. But I am a father to another baby well toddler now"I smiled.

"So y'all was just having babies for other people"my mom said.

"Yeah you can say that. Her name is Nora"I showed her a picture of Nora and I before I even knew Nora was mine. I remember that day. Me and Nyx took Nora to the zoo cause she wanted to see the elephants so bad.

"Ohhh Anthony. She look exactly like you"

"Yeah but I didn't know that till her mother told me the day I found out jasmine was pregnant for another man. Ma, it was a lot in Kansas and I just need a getaway but I also need your opinion on something"

"Ohh lawd. What is it son?"

"You think I should move my daughter and her mother down here?"i ask.

My mom sigh shaking her head. "Son, if I was you. I would wait for the mother of my child to say if she wanna leave. Kansas could be her hometown. Her mom and dad..."

"They dead"—"She don't have nobody but her friend"

"But you still can't tell her let's move somewhere else. When she feel like she wanna relocate, she'll let you know"my mom said.

"So just be patient?"I mumble.

"Duhhhh. Talk to her and see what she wants too for her daughter"

This is why I like talking to my mother. She taught me everything I needed to know. I didn't have a father since he walked out when I was 3 but I had uncles and an older cousin.

As I sat at the table listening to my mother mumble on and on about her church and her friends and shootings that happened, I already made up my mind on what I wanna do.

And that's be with Nyx and Nora.
