They stumble down the street, gently shoving each other whenever they make stupid comments. It's flirtatious, full of no shame. Hearing Sanemi's dumb jokes in real life make them 10 times funnier, listening to his voice slightly cracking as he chuckles midway through talking.

It all seems so surreal. Being with Sanemi, the boy who's only ever been on the other side of a screen to Giyuu. He's with him, holding him. They're together.

"So, what's the plan?" Sanemi asks after a while. The two have ended up in a busy part of the city. People swarm the area, and lights shine off every building. "The market opens in about 10 minutes. Maybe walk around there for a bit, maybe get food?" Giyuu suggests, hand still holding Sanemi's despite it not resting on his shoulder anymore.

Sanemi nods. "Sounds like a plan,"

He tightens his grip on Giyuu's hand when a stranger pushes past them. Sanemi scowls at the guy, shooting a death stare in his direction. "Fucking people," He mumbles, a pout on his lips as he sulks. Giyuu just laughs, pulling him slightly closer to his side. "Stop sulking," He says, earning himself an eye roll from Sanemi.

"I don't like it when you say it,"

"What do you mean?"

"When you type it, you normally send a heart. You can't do that when speaking,"

Giyuu falls quiet, smiling to himself before facing Sanemi again. "Stop sulking," He repeats. However, this time he holds up his free hand in front of Sanemi's face. He makes a small finger heart while smiling brightly.

Sanemi stares at Giyuu's hand, a little surprised by his actions. Though he smiles, cheeks flush. "That was fucking adorable," He says, voice barely audible. Giyuu chuckles, lowering his hand and turning back to face the direction they're walking.

They pick up random conversations throughout the rest of their walk. Keeping the air light and removing all remains of awkwardness. The market is in sight, Sanemi so immersed in Giyuu's story that he doesn't realise. Bright lights and the smell of freshly made street food bring them back to reality Giyuu smiles when he notices the night market is open. "Oh! We're here," He chirps, pulling Sanemi in a palm-to-palm handhold, fingers not interlocked.

All traces of their last conversation vanish as Giyuu wanders further into the crowd, Sanemi following behind closely. People swarm the area, the smell of fresh food and sweet treats take over the air, rows of string lights hang from the trees around, some falling onto different market stalls. It's a busy sight, yet so calming.

A particular stall captures Giyuu's attention.

The contents contain a variety of desserts and pastries, scanning the food to find something specific. A conversation replays in Giyuu's mind, one that he made sure to remember for a time like this.

One thing Giyuu remembers is Sanemi mentioning his tiny obsession with ohagi, a small, sweet dessert that contrasts Sanemi's exterior. He spoke fondly of it, saying he could eat them all day. So, after finding the wanted item, Giyuu purchases a box of four. They can share them later. Sanemi had wandered off somewhere, his head of white hair disappearing in the crowd as Giyuu was at the stall.

He seems more interested in the scenery. It's something better than the one at home. It's clean, calming, yet full of life. Sanemi could get used to living here. He walks past a few different stalls, the contents not spiking any of his interests. Scanning over a few more stalls, he ends up getting bored. Turning around, Sanemi notices Giyuu talking to one of the stall owners. She touches his hand for a second too long while passing him a box, a tinge of jealousy striking his body. "Pfft," Taking a deep breath, he strolls to Giyuu and flings his arm back around the boy's shoulder, his tongue in his cheek.
