Sanemi wakes up to a warmth wrapping his body. Blunt fingernails brush his arm, and the soft breaths on his neck make him look down. Giyuu is half asleep, eyes partially open while they follow his hand running lightly up and down Sanemi's arm. They seem to be following a pattern, Sanemi focusing on the direction Giyuu drags his fingers. He smiles, realising Giyuu is tracing the scars on his arm.
"Morning," Sanemi mumbles, his voice hoarse and deep. Giyuu looks up at the sound of Sanemi's voice, smiling, his eyes still half-open.
"Morning," He too has a deep voice, croaking as sleep threatens to take over again.
"Sleep well?" Giyuu shrugs, hiding his face between Sanemi's neck and the pillow. Sanemi chuckles, taking his hand and threading his fingers through Giyuu's messy hair. It's back in the strange bun, fly-aways sticking out and his bangs sitting to one side of his head.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Sanemi asks, nudging his shoulder into Giyuu's cheek a few times. Another quiet groan escapes Giyuu's mouth as he moves around, fisting a hand into Sanemi's shirt. He stops moving, his eyes closing again, and the room falls silent. "Oi, wake up," Sanemi says a little louder, attempting to move in Giyuu's surprisingly tight hold.
Giyuu's grip doesn't falter. His fist only tightens while Sanemi tries to pull himself free. "Giyuu, the more you sleep, the less time we'll have. I'm leaving today, remember," Sanemi's statement makes Giyuu groan again, his face scrunching up a little before he rolls over and pushes himself into a sitting position. Sanemi chuckles at the site, ruffling Giyuu's messy hair before standing up. "Did you have a plan for today?" He asks again, tugging his shirt over his head and replacing it with a clean one. Giyuu's face heats up a little, eyeing Sanemi's toned body before he hides it with the white fabric.
"Uh, nothing specific. I only planned last night. I didn't get this far," He laughs awkwardly, running a hand down his face attempting to wipe the sleep away.
Sanemi throws a shirt at Giyuu. "Well, let's go look around. I'm sure we can find something to do,"
"Can't we just stay here? I don't want to leave my bed,"
"Wouldn't that mean you'd be wasting your day?"
"No? It's a daily routine,"
Sanemi scoffs, picking up his phone from the nightstand. Spending the day in Giyuu's bed doesn't sound like a bad idea, and if he wasn't leaving, he'd happily go along with it. However, they will be parting their ways today. So he wants to go out and explore this new city with the boy he cares about the most. "C'mon, let's go," After what feels like forever, Giyuu eventually gets out of bed.
He puts the shirt on that Sanemi threw at him, tugs on the first pair of jeans he lays his eyes on and follows Sanemi into the kitchen. While Sanemi wanders around, preparing himself a drink and snooping through the cabinets, Giyuu stands by and admires him.
Watching Sanemi move around his home seems somewhat domestic. Being this close to Sanemi for the rest of his life sends a rush of butterflies through Giyuu's body. It's an idea that runs through Giyuu's mind as he watches Sanemi. Slightly laughing when Sanemi chuckles to himself as he mumbles. He's strange. But that's what made him so captivating to Giyuu.
"Stop staring," Sanemi chuckles, placing his glass on the counter and walking toward Giyuu.
"I wasn't,"
"Was,"
"Wasn't,"
"Yes, you were ~,"
"Shut up,"
He laughs again, resting his hands on Giyuu's waist to bring him close. They press their foreheads together, Giyuu wrapping his arms around Sanemi's neck. They're smiling, taking in each other's warmth. Sanemi is meant to be leaving today. That thought alone was enough to make Giyuu's mood plummet to the floor, so he doesn't dwell on it.
