I had asked my dad if I could go out with my friends and he was surprisingly not apposed. I simply just needed to be back by midnight. I got out my outfit and put it on. I was sort of excited. I've never been to a fair. I got the text that Ian was outside. I grabbed my things and I headed outside. My dad was in the kitchen on the phone and with a bunch of paperwork in front of him. He seemed stressed. He looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back as I walked out the door.
I walked out to Ian's car. It was a blacked out truck with black rims, tinted windows, etc. He unlocked the car and I got in. He smiled at me as I got in. The seats were black and were leather. He had the heat on since it was slightly cold outside. As I got in his cologne hit me. It wasn't harsh it was refreshing.
"Hey"He said
"Hi"I said
"You excited?"He said as he backed out of my driveway
"Yes, I've never been to a fair"I said
"Really?"He said as he straighten the car back up and began driving
"Yes"I said "I'm curious"I said
"Hm?"He said
"How are you driving whenever you just got out of juvie"I said
He laughed as he looked at me.
"Well my parents aren't really the best on laws especially my dad but they did have a car waiting for me whenever I got home"He said "so I just don't have a license"He said
"Oh"I said as we drove down the road
The drive was enjoyable. His car drove very smoothly. We arrived at Quinn's house and Michael and Quinn both got in the car.
"Hey hoes"Quinn said as she hopped in
"Ayeee wassup"Ian said
"Chile I am barely ready"Michael said as he pulled out a mirror
"Shittt I still gotta do my makeup"Quinn said as she rummaged through her purse and makeup bag
"Y'all will be alright it's a thirty minute drive"Ian said as he turned up the music and we were off

We were now pulling into the fair. It was scary. I haven't been out out in months...years. I avoid publicity. Ian parked and unlocked the doors.
"You ready?"Ian said
"Yeah"I said
No I really wasn't.
"Are you sure?"Ian said
I shook my head. He seemed concerned. I ignored it. We all gathered our things and walked out the car. We then walked into the fair and walked around. The first ride we got on looked terrifying.
I sat in the ride seat about to be locked. My stomach had dropped past my heart.
"Wooo!!"Michael yelled out
"This is finna be fun"Ian said
"'No."I said as to Ian as the worker locked my seat
"It's too late"Quinn said
The ride began to rotate then it lifted us into the air. We then began to spin. I didn't realize but I was screaming my head off. The ride then reversed. We then began to spin backwards. Then we stopped. Then we began spinning forward again.

After being forced to ride almost everything we finally were heading out. I don't know why but my heart was telling me not to get in the truck with them. They were talking but I was tuning them out. Until I was snapped out of existence.
"Woo!! Wasn't that fun Tyree!!"Ian said
"Uh Yeah"I said
"You all good you seem kinda underwhelmed"Quinn said
"Think the rides made me kinda sick"I said as we got in the truck
"Probably because you screamed on all of them"Michael said as I laughed
The entire car went silent like I had did a crime.
"Oh my goddd he just laughed!!"Quinn said
"Oooh I'm telling"Michael said
Ian was just staring at me for a couple minutes before getting on his phone. Then we began to drive off. We were on the interstate. Ian then got a text.
"Hey are y'all all good with taking a detour....into the hood"Ian said
I didn't say anything. My heart was kind of beating fast. Michael has woke up and responded.
"I don't care just get me home please"Michael said as he went back to sleep
"Alrighty, I gotta get sumn from my homeboy"Ian said as we got off the interstate and started heading down this sketchy road
We then turned right and then went into a dirt road. We then turned left and pulled into a sketchy neighborhood. We then pulled up to a house and he parked. There were four people outside the house.
"Get out with me Tyree"Ian said
"What? Why?"I said
"I want you to meet them"Ian said smiling
I shook my head no.
"Please"Ian said
It took everything in me to say yes. I was now getting out the car and walking up to the house with Ian.
"Ayeee what's good"a guy said as he dapped up Ian
"Nun much"Ian said as he handed the man two hundred dollars
"I appreciate it"the guy said as he handed Ian a backpack which I assumed had weed in it
"Yo who this?"another guy said
"Oh yeah this is tyree"Ian said
And after Ian said my name all the boys were talking to me and shaking my hand. They asked if I smoked weed also. I said yes. Shortly after that we were then walking back to the car.
"Ayo y'all see that car down there?"one of the guys said as we all looked down the street
The car was coming by full speed. Ian's eyes had widened.
"AYO THATS TRAY THEM!"One guy yelled
