Days have went by and me and Ian haven't spoke since the drive thru. It also seemed like he was avoiding me at school. I might just be dramatic but it's already Thursday! The situation happened Monday..Today he got detention again so I had to wait outside by his car. Which was very embarrassing. I had to make it seem like I wasn't standing near his car.
After almost an hour of waiting people starting piling out the school. Amber and Kia were walking together. I wonder why they got detention. Probably talking back. Kia was fond of having an attitude with everyone.
Kia then spotted me and tapped Amber on her arm. Amber had been broken out of her rant. Kia then waved at me. I waved back and suddenly the two started walking towards me.
"Hey Tyree!"Kia said hugging me
"Hey Kia."I said
"I haven't spoke to you in so long oh my gosh!!"She said
She smelled nice. She smelled like a candy shop.
"You remember Amber right?"She said
"Yep, Hi."I said
Amber had been squinting her eyes at me. My voice had broken her out of her staring.
"My bad, Hi."Amber said
Ian then walked up to his car with his head down. Yep he was in a bad mood. He was about to get in his car and then noticed I was standing outside his car. His face looked irritated when he saw Amber.
"Hey Ian this is my ex Kia."I said
Kia waved and smiled at him. Ian flick of his hand in a gesture of saying hi. (Please tell me y'all understand that-)
"Alright let's go Tyree."Ian said
"Alright uhm...bye it was nice to see you two."I said to Kia and Amber
"You too!"Kia said smiling
I walked around the car and got in.
"Bye Ian."Amber said
Ian then perked up. He looked like he wanted to respond but didn't. He got in the car and drove off.
Awkward.

We pulled up to Walmart and he was about to get out but I stopped him.
"Alright we not finna do that."I said
"Bro what is you talking about?"Ian said
"We have barely spoken simply over a question I asked"I said "and I'm not finna be full on living with someone and not talking to them."I said "I already went through that with my dad why the fuck would I wanna go through that again."I said "even if you are trying to hide something then it isn't very hidden"I said "did you see how awkward that conversation was in the parking lot?"I said "you really need too-"
"SHUT UP!"Ian yelled "YOU TALK SO MUCH!"He yelled
Oh. I then opened the car door and walked out. I waited outside his car waiting for him to get our.
"Wait Tyree I didn't even-" He stopped himself and just closed his car door and started walking.
We walked into the store and I stopped at the carts.
"Can you grab one for me?"Ian said as he pointed to the shopping carts
I walked over and grabbed one. I pushed it into the store and started walking around. We walked up to the cold stuff.
"You want some seafood maybe?"Ian said
I ignored him. He had realized I was ignoring him and sighed.

After bringing groceries in I sat down on the couch and got on my phone. Dad hasn't texted me since I got kicked out. I heard Ian ask me something but I ignored him again. I scrolled on tiktok as I heard the stove cooking something.
After a while of ignoring. I saw an Ian with an oven mitt taking my phone from my hands. I opened my mouth to talk but I wanted to continue ignoring him.
"Are you serious?"He said
I ignored him.
"Well if your gonna keep ignoring me your not getting this back."He said as he placed my phone in his apron pocket.
"Ian wait."I said "let's talk about it then."I said
Ian then smiled and sat beside me.
"How about this."I said "To really get everything off our chest let's just be truthful to each other."I said
Ian has paused for a minute and then removed his oven mitt.
"You sure you wanna do that?"He said
"Yep."I said
If anything it was a trick bcs I always tell people how I feel straight up. I think.
"Alright."He said "First things first."He said
The suspense was killing me.
"I like you."He said
"Oh I like you too."I said
"No."He said "Relationship wise."He said
"Oh-"I said
