I bounced my leg up and down as we pulled into the school parking lot. He parked the car and turnt it off.
"You good ?"Ian said
"Nope"I said
"Listen, you'll be alright."He said "it's just a little bit of anxiety"He said "just act how you normally do."He said
"That's the problem Ian."I said
Ian paused for a minute. He had looked at me in confusion.
"What are you talking about?"He said
"I never spoke to people at school on purpose!"I said "now I've been talking everyday!"I said as I looked away from him "and look even more perfect that's my ex!"I said as I watched Kia walk past
"Woah what?!"He said
"Yeah, couldn't believe it either"I said
But whenever I turned to him he seemed anxious and not worried about me being able to have dated Kia. I then breathed in and out.
"Alright. I'm ready."I said as he looked up and smiled

I placed my books in my locker and I heard a conversation in the distance.
"Yes my period should've started 2 days after!"A girl said
"Girl maybe it's just stress or something.."Kia said
"I haven't been stressed.."the girl said "and I told him about it and he seemed like he didn't care!"She said
I was suddenly snapped out of my nosiness by Michael.
"What you doing pookie"Michael said as he shook my shoulders slightly
"Oh shit, my bad"I said "I was spacing out"I said
"Yeah and lunch started a good three minutes ago"Quinn said
"Sorry"I said as I put my books in my backpacks and closed my locker
"Let's go I'm hungry"Michael said
I looked back and Kia and the mystery girl were gone. I've seen her before but I don't know her name.
Shortly I walked into the cafeteria and got my lunch. I don't know why but their conversation really interested me. I then sat down at the normal table and I didn't see Ian anywhere in sight. I assume he got lunch detention.
"Hey, I have a question for you two"I said
"Hm?"Quinn said
"Who's the girl that is always with Kia."I said
Quinn and Michael then looked at each other in unison. Michael then shook his head at Quinn.
"Uhm we don't know her.."Michael said
I squinted my eyes at the two. I feel like they just tested my intelligence at that moment.
"I know y'all are lying."I said blankly
"We just don't want to hurt you.."Quinn said
"What do you mean?"I asked
"Well she somehow used to date Ian whenever he was in juvie.."Michael said
My stomach started hurting immediately. I didn't know why. I don't like Ian so why would it effect me?
"And they broke up whenever Ian got out so its perfectly fine if you like him!"Quinn said
I tilted my head mad made a face.
"That's a weird assumption."I said as I continued to eat my food
But that is also weird because unless she was cheating while Ian was in Juvie she wouldn't be showing pregnancy symptoms. Unless...

"Woo! School was tiring wasn't it"Ian said smiling as he got in the car
"Yeah."I said
"You good? You seem to be in a bad mood.."Ian said "you wanna go get something to eat?"He said
"Just tired, and sure."I said
We pulled up to McDonalds and waited in the overly long line. I wanted to keep quiet but just something in me felt a need to ask or say something. Anything.
"Ian did you have a girlfriend?"I asked
He had been shocked by my question. He had a confused look on his face.
"If you did I don't care, just make sure to be a good father."I said
That seemed to have irked him a little. But he kept quiet. We got up to the intercom.
"What do you want?"He said asking me
"Nothing, I'm not hungry"I said
"I would like two double cheeseburgers with a sprite"He said into the intercom
"Why'd you get two?"I said
"For you."He said which made me smile
"Thanks"I said
