Being a part of the Glitter Force wasn't only to look glamourous with insanely long and silky hair, adorned with cute, sparkling accessories that would make even Nogo's generals take a second look at. Than again that could also be because the girls shine like crazy...
But as I was saying!
The Glitter Force; as silly and girly as it may sound, was actually quite dangerous. Having to be on constant guard that someone would appear unexpectedly to give a bad ending to your world and then rush into a fight, which by the way, could prove to be rather deadly if the villains had enough drive to go that far. Not that they didn't most of the time...they were either just too stupid or unprepared to follow through. Which meant defeat on their part, was easily achieved.
Knowing this, the five Glitter Force warriors Lucky,Sunny,Peace,Spring and Breeze try to keep their secret lives on the down low. The thought of endangering anyone further or giving Nogo's goons even the slightest advantage of getting them where it truly hurts to defeat them quicker, was a big No No! So it's safe to say the other four glitter girls wouldn't be very pleased with their leader Lucky right now.
Emily knew especially how important their job was, how the safety of each one of them mattered greatly and to risk it even a little, might end in disaster.
Yet for today, curiosity got the best of her.
She decided to head for the far side of the park, one where mostly trees inhabited the area, where no one really went on regular busy days. She sat agaisnt the trunk of one, while also in her Glitter Form. She peered around one final time to make sure no one would be bothering her. Taking a breath before staring down at her hands with strong determination and interest.
"It's just for a few minutes. What harm could possibly come from fooling a bit with my powers?" Lucky muttered quietly to herself, hands rolling into fists, thinking on it some more.
"I'm sure if Kelsey or even April had the chance..they'd want to see the extent and ferocity of their own powers that they possesed.." Grunting, she rose to her feet. She made up her mind up and a small smile began forming on her lips."Alright let's get started! Let's see what I can do!" Lucky channeled all her energy into her pact like in usual battles, calling on her spirit to grant her the force and magic necessary to win. She started to raise her arms high in the shape of heart.
She was about to complete in doing her signature attack, before abruptly stopping herself, the magic disappearing in big pink puffs of air and making Lucky fall back on the ground.
She wined in frustration, covering her face. "What the heck is wrong with me!?Oh, I could have brought attention to myself with that attack! I wasn't even trying to do that. Not so huge and what I'm used to. I was only supposed to see if I could control and present my magic differently..."
The Pink Glitter Girl suddenly felt a small warmth on her cheeks. She blinked in confusion, lifting her hands back only to find the faintest glow of pink light, scattered glitter on her palms.
She gasped and sat up, a bit shocked.
"This is...is it...does that mean I actually can control it not only in small amounts but as another shape form?"
Lucky focused her strength into creating even the tinest of a reaction. A spark, flicker, heck, even if her magic came out in little floating swirls she'd be satisfied. She grinned when her hands glowed a darker shade, the glitter seeming as though it was beginning to increase in number and size and a visible heart formed. Like the one she usually makes when fighting only smaller and wasn't as glittery. Then it quickly vanished since Lucky didn't pay much attention at the moment, too wrapped up in how cute the little heart was, and that she was impressed with herself.
"SO AMAZING!" She squealed happily. Wanting to explore a bit further, she continued to study the action, moving her hands about in the air, pink sparkling light appearing in little flurries or twinkling figures like minature round orbs of some sorts. Her favorites especially being the hearts she created, some could fit perfectly cupped in her palms.
She had retaken her postion in lying against the tree's bark, softly blowing on her hands as her lovely pink magic flew off, glittering brightly.
She did this again, not really taking notice of the time or if she was being watched. Though for some reason she felt a presence, which should have indicated she needed to stop and leave or be on the alert.
Yet she was calm about it. Like what she was doing was perfectly normal. Like it was no biggie and she shouldn't worry if she was caught.
Finally blowing off the last of her magic, it flying up and about, tiny circles and swirls of glitter along with pink hearts that appeared as light and thin as paper, glowing vibrantly around Lucky's face. It made her look rather beautiful, bringing out her smooth, tinted red cheeks and tender lips. Her soft light and some what laughable but adorable hair, shimmered thanks to her powers being used in such a way.
She had slowly opened up her eyes, turning her attention to who ever had arrived.
"Oh. It's you!"
The end
I guess? :3
Old old old piece, first on Instagram then Amino. I always loved this one so dearly, which I believe in part has to do with the beautiful artwork.
I doubt I'll be adding a second part to this. I never figured out who the "mystery" person was, so it can be whoever you speculate it to be.
