JAYDA NIZANI PARKER

location: Salt Lake City, Utah
date: December 21st, 2020"LOOK MOMMY." Her two year old son spoke as he ran around the park.
"Good job Booger." Jayda smiled as she clapped her hands. Although he didn't do anything but slide down the slide, everything he did made her smile.
The thirty-two year old sat on the park bench, recording her son as he ran around the park. Being in her early thirties with a two year old son— her life was never boring, but in all honesty she wouldn't have it any other way. She had been single for five years, after she found out her fiancee was sleeping around on her. He had gotten another woman pregnant, and flipped the script onto Jayda since she had fertility issues. She didn't want to be lonely, so one day a one thought would become one of the best decisions of her life.
About two years ago, almost three, Jayda decided to get artificially inseminated. It was a risk because she knew she has heavy fertility issues, one of the reasons she didn't blame her ex for what he did. He always wanted children, and she couldn't give him any so he got him one from someone else. But she was actually happy her relationship ended. If it didn't she probably wouldn't have her miracle baby.
Loyal, he was her best friend. They did everything together. He was her heart outside of her body. There was nothing else she loved more than him. Him and her job were tied for first in her heart. Jayda worked as a pediatric assistant and she loved it. She was always there to comfort the kids before any surgeries or shots, she would bring snacks and does for them to play with, read to them. She just catered to them as if they were her own son.
"Mommy I hungry." Loyal spoke in distress as he walked over towards Jayda, dramatically falling into her arms. "We get nuggies?"
"Yes baby." She smiled as she picked up the toddler. "What else you want Boog?"
"Mac and cheese." He squealed as he said his head on her shoulder as they walked towards her car. After they approached the car, she popped the locks, opening the back door to place him into his car seat. After she got him settle, she closer the door hurrying to the driver's side. After she got in and situated herself she adjusted the rearview mirror to see Loyal before she pulled off.
"Booger you ready to go back to daycare tomorrow?" Jayda asked as she looked at in through the rearview mirror.
"No." He shrugged as he pulled his phone from his paw patrol backpack.
"Why not?" She laughed as she stopped at the red light.
"Because." He shrugged as the intro to Pj Mask started on his phone. "I no like them."
"Booger that's rude." Jayda playfully gasped as she pulled into the Chick-fil-A drive through.
"This one boy, him name Kacey, he so stinky mommy." Loyal laughed as he placed his hand over his mouth making Jayda frown a little.
