"SO KHAZIER tell me about yourself." Jayda spoke softly as he sat on the couch that was in her room, while she sat on the bed checking her emails. The boys were in Loyal's room watching TV. They had just eaten, Khazier and Kacey praised the food so well due to it being their first home cooked meal in a long time.

"Ion' know what ta' say." Khazier shrugged as he seen the moving Next Friday playing on tv

"Say whatever." Jayda encouraged as she looked over at him. "I'm all ears."

"Um, I'm nineteen, my baby three-, Ms. Parker ion' thank I ca' do this." Khazier frowned. He's never been one to talk about him or his sons situation, now he had to, and it was overwhelming.

"You can." Jayda assured as she closed her laptop, before getting up and sitting down next to him on the couch. "I want to help you Khazier, just let me, please?"

"Ian' always been like this Ms. Parker." He spoke lowly once she wrapped his arm around her. "Say, it's like after I went to jail everythang just fell apart."

"I'm listening." Jayda spoke softly as she looked down at him.

"I'm not even from here. I'm from Louisiana, I had ta' come down here 'cause she gave my baby up for adoption." Khazier mumbled. "Right after I went to jail she put him up for adoption. I missed everything. I used ta' have money out the ass- I'm sorry."

"You're fine." Jayda laughed. "Keep going Khazier."

"Afta' I came out hea' I finally got ma' baby back, I had to prove to them that ian' know she gave him up. Afta' I got him, Ian' have enough money to get back to Baton Rouge, so instead ma' sister bought a few apartment buildings with some money I had before I went to jail, everything was legally hers even though she got it wit' ma' money. She let me stay in one of the buildings. A few months ago my job started gettin' slow and she started treating me like a regular ass tenant. She'a have them cut of my water or lights if I was the slightest bit late. I could never even be a li' short so I ca' have some money to feed me and my baby." He spoke as he looked up at Jayda who felt herself about to cry, she was so emotional. "I jus' sometimes wish I left Kacey alone, he coulda' been livin' the life and shit."

"I'm so sorry that happened to you." Jayda spoke softly. Happened. Ed. She was speaking in past tense because it wasn't going to happen any longer.

"It ain' shit Ms. Parker." He mumbled lowly.

"It is something." Jayda spoke. "Let me help you Khazier."

"I can't letchu' do that. You got yo' own stuff to worry about." Khazier spoke lowly as he looked up at her.
