"KHA, WAKE up sweetie." Jayda whispered into his ear as she lightly shook his body. It was nine thirty a.m, on Christmas morning. She had yet to wake the boys, since she had recently just got in. She had been out since six a.m trying to find some things for Khazier and Kacey. She knew that she had already bought them things, but it was Christmas and she wanted them to be able to open some things too.
"Mhmmm." Khazier mumbled as he turned in his sleep, snuggling deeper into the fur blanket.
"Khazier, get up." Jayda reiterated a little louder making his eyes slowly open. "Merry Christmas Khazier."
"Merry Christmas Jayda." Khazier spoke softly as he looked up at her.
"I made you guys breakfast." Jayda spoke soothingly. "Go brush your teeth and come downstairs."
She watched as he nodded before fully sitting up in the soft, memory foam bed. After he walked into the bathroom that was attached to the side of the room, she walked into Loyal's room. She couldn't help but laugh at the site.
The two toddlers were sprawled out across each other on the bed. The Pj Mask show was still playing, as she looked on the floor, trying to be careful not to step on any Legos. She walked over to the bed, placing a small kiss on both of their foreheads before shaking them awake.
"Wake up boys." Jayda spoke softly as the two of them unraveled from each other, before sitting up. "Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas mommy." Loyal spoke hoarsely.
"Merry Christmas Ms. Jay." Kacey spoke simultaneously as he rubbed his eyes.
"Go brush y'all teeth, so y'all can eat and see what Santa got y'all." Jayda spoke softly making them nod before they stood, walking into Loyal's bathroom.
Jayda walked out of Loyal's room, walking down the long flight of stairs, to see Khazier at the kitchen table eating his plate silently.
"You ok?" Jayda questioned making him nod his head. "You sure Kha? Don't lie to me."
"I'm fine Jay." He smiled showing his early white teeth. "This just the first happy Christmas I had ina' minute."
"Do me a favor." Jayda smiled softly as she walked over towards him. She held his head softly placing a small kiss on his forehead. "Get used to it."
