In the city of River City, Australia, in an undisclosed location, there resided an elf named Orla who had been incarcerated for her ambitious plot to conquer the world. Her weapon of choice was the Orb of Lemuria, a powerful relic from the lost continent of Lemuria, which had been obliterated by Maxwell in the past. Orla had cunningly assumed the identity of Imogen to carry out her sinister scheme.
While imprisoned, Orla monitored the events in the outside world through her television. She witnessed the Power Rangers Ninja Steel successfully thwarting the latest threat posed by Madame Odius. It was at that moment that she decided to make her daring escape using teleportation, with a plan to join forces with Odius in order to vanquish the Super Ninja Steel Rangers.
Meanwhile, aboard the Warrior Dome Ship, Madame Odius was devising her own strategy to eliminate the Rangers. Suddenly, Orla materialized on the ship, catching Odius off guard. Odius demanded, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Swiftly, Odius ordered her Kudabots and Basherbots to confront the intruder, but Orla's magical prowess quickly dispatched the robotic henchmen.
Orla introduced herself, saying, "I'm Orla Maguire, an elf with a grand ambition to subjugate humanity, obliterate the Department of Magical Intervention, and unleash chaos among magical artifacts." Odius, intrigued by Orla's proposition, responded, "I admire your ambition. I have a plan to conquer the world and acquire the Ninja Power Stars from those troublesome Power Rangers." Orla eagerly offered her assistance, saying, "Madame Odius, let us unite to achieve our shared goals."
Meanwhile, back in Summer Cove at the Rangers' base, hidden within the Summer Cove High paint booth in the school's repair shop, the Rangers observed the Nexus Prism and witnessed Orla's attack on the city, accompanied by a new Galaxy Warrior named Steamface, resembling a steam locomotive. Brody stepped forward and declared, "We must stop them."
The Rangers confronted Orla and Steamface, with Brody demanding, "Who are you, and what is your purpose?" Orla, undeterred, replied, "I am Orla, an elf. Alongside Steamface, on behalf of Madame Odius, we are here to destroy you and seize your Ninja Power Stars." Brody firmly asserted, "That's not going to happen!" and then initiated the transformation sequence, calling, "It's Morphin Time, Ninja Spin!"
The Rangers morphed and engaged in battle against Orla and Steamface. While the boys, Brody, Preston, Calvin, and Aiden (Levy), contended with Steamface, the girls, Sarah and Hailey, confronted Orla. Realizing that Orla was employing magic, Preston wielded his magic wand against her, but she swiftly disarmed him. Just in the nick of time, four girls and two boys appeared out of thin air. They were Kyra, along with her friends Lily, Imogen, Rukie, Imogen's brother Darra, and Kyra's friend Peter.
Kyra freed the Rangers, while Imogen and Darra engaged Orla in combat. Kyra declared, "Orla, you've escaped from prison, and on the authority of the Department of Magical Intervention, you are under arrest." Orla, with a sly smile, retorted, "Ah, Kyra, we meet again!" Orla and Steamface hastily retreated to the Warrior Dome as the ship set course for River City, Australia.
Curious about the newcomers, Brody inquired, "Who are you, and what's happening here?" Kyra suggested, "You are the Power Rangers, right?" Brody confirmed, "Yes, we are. But it's not safe to discuss this here. Let's continue the conversation at our base."
At the Ranger base, the Ninja Steel Rangers demorphed in front of Kyra, Lily, Imogen, Darra, Ruksy, and Peter. The Rangers introduced themselves one by one. Brody began, "I'm Brody," followed by Sarah, Preston, Hailey, Calvin, and Aiden/Levy. Kyra expressed her excitement, exclaiming, "You're Levi Weston? I'm a huge fan! I have all your songs on my phone." The new friends introduced themselves as well.
Suddenly, a man with a distinctive haircut and a red robot entered the scene. It was Mick Kanic, accompanied by Redbot. Brody vouched for Kyra and her friends, explaining how they had aided in their battle against Orla and one of Odius' warriors.
Kyra and her friends introduced themselves to Mick and Redbot. They shared a bit about themselves, with Kyra revealing her unique heritage as a Tri-ling—a blend of human, elf, and fairy. Preston asked, "You've discovered magic?" Kyra confirmed, "Yes, accidentally, when I touched a book that Imogen and Lily were quarreling over. Little did I know it held a secret." Intrigued, Preston inquired, "What secret?" Kyra disclosed, "It contained the Orb of Lemuria, created using elf and fairy magic. Lemuria was destroyed ages ago, following a war between elves and fairies."
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Professor Maxwell, a middle-aged man with a brown beard. Kyra asked, "Professor Maxwell, what brings you here?" Maxwell explained that he had come on behalf of the Department of Magical Intervention (DMI) due to Orla's appearance. Redbot inquired, "Who are you, and how did you find our base?" Maxwell revealed his identity as a teacher and a DMI member. Mick introduced himself as well.
Maxwell explained that the DMI's mission was to protect the secrecy of the magical world from humans. Mick readily agreed to assist the DMI, and Brody pledged the Power Rangers' support in return, emphasizing the importance of keeping their identities secret in their joint endeavor.
