Back in the Golden Age, D-16, who will later be known as Megatronus, was a Champion Gladiator for Cybertron. He always fought his opponents fairly, and eventually one day, he was scheduled to fight Reptilion, another Champion Gladiator who won about 5 more fights than D-16. And in the end, D-16 was victorious against his competitor.
Afterwards he earns his name Megatronus. Over the years he's been thinking about a new idea that will improve Cybertron for ages, and wanted to show it to his brother, Orion Pax, and see what he thinks about it, but unfortunately after receiving the Matrix of Leadership, Orion, now Optimus Prime, abandons his brother, leaving Megatronus in sadness and anger.
During the War, Megatron kidnaps Bumblebee and rips his voice box out, after doing so, he says:
Megatron: Now, begone. Go to your little adopted father and cry to him about what happened. Oh right, I forgot.
Megatron drops Bumblebee's voice box to the ground before stepping on it and crushes it. Bumblebee looks on in sadness.
Megatron: Your voice box is no more. Barricade, deliver this pest to their base.
Barricade: Yes, Lord Megatron.
Megatron walks away as Barricade drags Bumblebee to the Autobot base.
Later, we go to a black screen before seeing a Red Eye turn on, indicating that something woke up.
