Third Person POV

Tae parked his car in the visitor parking spot in Dome's building and went straight to the building directory posted outside Dome's office. He wanted to go and find Pavel's unit first and drop off the binder before going to pay a visit to Dome.

Tae discovered from the directory that Pavel's unit was right across from Dome's own unit. Very convenient, he thought. All Pavel had to do was cross the yard if he wanted to have a quick night cap with Dome. The thought sent a sharp stab into his chest. Stop, Tae scolded himself. He and Dome were no longer together. Dome was free to be with anyone and he, Tae, was free to be with anyone, with Tee, for example.

Tae walked over to Pavel's unit and pressed lightly on the button on the wall beside the door. Tae liked the soft ding dong tune that it made. It sounded so peaceful.

In just a few seconds the door opened to reveal Pavel, shirtless with only a white fluffy towel wrapped around his waist, actually a little below the waist, more of around the hips.

"Hi," Tae said, trying not to look at the towel. "Tee sent me to give you this binder ......"

"Pavel, coffee, tea or me?" a flirty voice came from behind Pavel.

Tae's eyes widened to see a half naked Dome, also just wearing a towel around his waist walking out from behind the wall that divided the kitchen area from the living room, a flirty smile all over his face.

Tae lost his grip on the binder that he was about to hand over to Pavel.

The binder fell, its edge hitting Pavel's bare toes.

"Oww!" Pavel yelped.

Tae did not even bother to apologize but started to walk quickly away.

Dome almost stumbled over Pavel who had crouched to pick up the fallen binder.

Pavel caught him before he could hit the ground.

"Don't," Pavel urged. "Don't go after him. Please."

Dome straightened himself and broke away from Pavel and then continued to run after Tae.

Pavel stared helplessly as he watched Dome chasing after Tae, his heart shattering into a million pieces.

Tae turned around before Dome could even reach him.

"We have nothing to say to each other," Tae said coldly to Dome.

"I still love you," Dome said, bending to place his hands on his knees to support himself because he was critically out of breath from all the chasing.

Tae's eyes opened wide, staring at Dome, shocked beyond words at what he just heard coming from the lips of Dome.

Then Tae seemed to recover from the shock. He went back into cold mode.

"If you still do, what were you doing in Pavel's unit, with both of you practically naked?" Tae asked and then followed it with, "Not that it's any of my business."

Suddenly, at that moment, Tae realized that there was no way that he would go back together with Dome. There was no way that, after all this time that Dome had judged him to be unfaithful without giving him any chance to explain, that he would want to be with Dome again. He and Dome were over, for real.

"We... we... we had dinner the night before at a seaside restaurant... and I... I had too much to drink ... and I... I ..." Dome was talking between gasps of air.

"Save the explanation," Tae interrupted him. "I have to go back to Tee."

It was Dome's turn to stare at Tae with widened eyes.

"I see..." Dome said slowly, the mention of Tee's name suddenly making things clear to him. "Yes, Tae, go back to Tee. I'm sure he can't wait to see you again."
