Third person's POV.
The night sky was glowing brighter along with the city lights which was faraway.
Natural hue of light from the sizzling sky and the man made street light on the road was the only source of light inside the dark wooden house.
The house wasn't warm though. It wasn't warm like he remembers but in fact he could feel the coldness inside which reminded him of his visit back in then.
The last time when Taehyung was here, he was welcomed warmly inside since they knew who he was.
But now .........
Emptiness.
It felt empty and dark. The black and yellow tapes which police left was on the floor messily as it wasn't cleaned yet.
His own footsteps felt so loud in the silence as he walked to a particular room where he could see the fading dim light under the door.
Walking inside, his eyes took in each corner of the dim lighted room as the cold icy wind kissed his golden skin ever so tenderly making him feel shivery. Eyes snapping to side he saw the window being opened.
The room was clean as everything was kept on it's own place. Neat and tidy unlike the very last time he was here when everything was an bloody mess. Literally. The floor, the walls. Everything.
No longer was there dried blood on floor nor the feathery cottons. No tapes or footprints. Nothing but a clean room as if there ain't no murder took place a few days back.
Walking towards the huddled figure on bed, he saw she wasn't sleeping but laying there on right side of bed while looking out to the empty left side blankly.
Running his gaze on her, he saw she's wearing an loose shorts and white tee. The white gauze on her wounded arm was hard to ignore as she rested her hand on bed.
Placing his cold rough hand on her hip, her body visibly tensed at the mere contact. To ease her up, he gently let the words roll out of his mouth.
"I thought you'll be back home." Suga was back to base first as said but Storm wasn't. He sure was looking forward for her despite knowing she won't be back just like that. Sure he had his doubt regarding that as Storm was quite unpredictable. But his doubt only proven right.
Maybe she wanted that alone time for herself and let her be on her own for a damn day.
He didn't tracked her location this time though as he very well knew where she could be. There's only two places Storm could be at the moment, one being her mother's graveyard and the other was the house itself which hold the memories of her late mother.
The later it was.
"Don't have one." Storm whispered back absently as his words felt nothing for her ears.
Numb.
Her mind was nothing but numb. So numb that she wasn't even thinking as no thoughts crossed her mind. Even his presence never irritated her as she was too numb to feel anything.
The only emotion which was holding her down grounded was that numbness. If that make sense.
"Then come back to me?" His voice was soft as something caught his eyes which was on her left hand.
A new tattoo on the back of her hand.
He eyed it, having a better look on the new ink she had on her tan skin.
A half broken clock.
It was so detailed, the shattered broken pieces was fading back, dusting away from the clock itself, leaving it behind broken and shattered. Even the inside of the clock had cracks.
