It was another day on The Island of Sodor, Molly was called into Knapford Station by Sir Topham Hatt.

Molly arrived as Henry was pulling out with a long goods train.

"You called me Sir?" Molly Questioned with exhaustion.

"Uh, yes, Molly, I have, it seems to me that you have been doing work with carrying goods around the Island, therefore, it has taken me into consideration that you could be a pilot but that is if you would like to" Sir Topham Hatt Answered.

"It depends which station, sir," Molly Replied.

"How about we put you on trial at Crovan's Gate for a week to see if you like it or not?" Sir Topham Hatt Interrogated.

Molly thought and thought. She pictured the narrow gauge engines and the busy station and yard. Working right next to the steamworks. Molly came up with her final decision.

"I shall be put on trial to be the new Crovan's Gate Station Pilot" Molly Answered.

Sir Topham Hatt nodded.

"As I have a meeting with British Railways, Mr. Percival will be meeting you at Crovan's Gate to discuss what all you have to do today, I'm sure you will be a very good engine for our dear friend." Sir Topham Commented.

"Yes Sir" Molly Replied.

Molly then puffed off to Crovan's Gate to speak about being the Crovan's Gate Pilot with The Thin Controller.

Molly finally arrived and filled up with coal and water, it's been a busy morning.

"Don't worry Molly, it might've been a busy morning but I'm sure the rest of the day will turn out relaxing." Her Driver Said.

Molly hoped her driver was right and started thinking of the flour mill.

Molly pulled into Crovan's Gate Station and there was Mister Percival.

"Hello there, Molly, I heard you are looking to be the Crovan's Gate Station Pilot, your first order of business for your trial will be shunting those trucks in the yard and get Rebecca's train shunted here in the station for her to pick up." The Thin Controller Ordered.

"Yes Sir," Said Molly as she started thinking being the pilot here won't be so bad.

Molly got to work, she was making good time with the busy yard. Molly then shunted Rebecca's train into the station and soon after that Rebecca arrived to pick it up.

"Thank you Molly! Good luck on getting the job!" Rebecca Shouted as she puffed off in a hurry.

As the sun started going down, Molly was resting in the sheds at Crovan's Gate, Peter Sam arrived.

"Hello, who are you?" Questioned Peter Sam.

"I am Molly, you?" Molly Replied.

"I am Peter Sam, the best engine on The Skarloey Railway!" Peter Sam Answered.

"Nice to meet you, Peter Sam," Molly Said.

"Well, I have to go to my shed now, it's been a busy day but before I go, why are you sleeping here?" Peter Sam Wondered.

"She's on trial to become the next Crovan's Gate Pilot, now hurry on Peter Sam, also I'm Skarloey, it's nice to meet you Molly" Skarloey Interrupted.

"Nice to meet you too, Skarloey," Molly Replied.

Skarloey and Peter Sam puffed away to the transfer yards.

"Now, was today really that bad?" Molly's Fireman Questioned.

"Not at all," Molly Replied.

"Told you, now, we're off to home, good night Molly!" Her Driver Said.

Molly smiled and kept thinking of what tomorrow might bring as she watched her driver and fireman walk away.

-Moments of silence and it finally turns night, Molly's eyes close-

Molly wakes up early in the morning to see Rusty beside her.

"Hello There, I'm Rusty!" Rusty Said in excitement.

"Hello Rusty, I'm Molly. It's very nice to meet such a small diesel like you," Molly Commented.

"Well, I'll be here working in the narrow gauge part of the yards here at Crovan's Gate today" Rusty Declared.

Molly smiled and got to work.

"I'm sure you'll do fine," Rusty Said.

-Job's A Plenty Instrumental-

Rusty then got to work. They both worked well together, engines kept coming in for trucks, passengers and they both were making everything run on time.

It was noon and both parts of the yard looked empty and organized. All of a sudden, Sir Topham Hatt and Mister Percival showed up and walked over to Molly and Rusty. Sir Topham Hatt was drinking his coffee from dunkin donuts.

"It seems that you both have done very well at your job today," Mr. Percival Commented.

"If this keeps up, Molly will become the next Crovan's Gate Pilot and Rusty, you will be put up at Great Waterton in a siding so that kids will learn about your railway but only for a day" Sir Topham Hatt Announced.

Molly looked over at Rusty and Rusty gave back a wink.

"Thank you, controllers," Molly Replied.

"You are welcome," Mr. Percival Said.

Mr. Percival and Sir Topham Hatt drove off in the car and the two engines got back to work.

Douglas puffed in with some saloon coaches. Molly then wondered what those coaches could be for.

Douglas then was uncoupled from the coaches and puffed over to the sheds.

"Do ya mine if I take a res here?" Douglas Asked.

"Not at all, take as much rest as you need" Molly Replied.

Molly then puffed over to the saloon coaches and shunted them away into a siding.

Soon after that, Spencer pulled into a station and looked over into the yards and laughed. Molly then worried that she was doing something wrong.

"Hey Molly, looks like you're going to be staying with these small engines and shunting dirty trucks all day!" Spencer Shouted.

"At least I'm not a servant," Molly Replied.

Spencer was shocked and did nothing except look down at the rails.

Soon enough, Spencer took off and Douglas woke up as it started getting dark out.

"Oh my, I missed a lot of my jobs, I'm gonna be in big treble!" Douglas Said.

"I could help you," Molly Offered.

Douglas smiled.

"I'd like that very much but are you sure?" Douglas Questioned.

Molly started thinking of all the bad things that could happen during the night and her sleep and her driver and fireman.

"I can do one but it has to be nearby" Molly Said.

Douglas sighed.

"I have none nearby for now but thank you" Douglas Commented.

Douglas puffed away in a hurry. Molly was sad that she couldn't help him but was glad that her second day went amazing.

It turns night and some engines pass through the station as Molly sleeps.

Molly wakes up and she gets to work with Rusty controlling the other side of the yard.

-Duck and Stepney's Adventure Theme Plays as engines pass through the station and yard while Molly and Rusty shunt-

Engines and trucks kept coming in and out everyday and second.

It was finally the day of the decision. Thomas puffed into the yards with Annie and Clarabel. Sir Topham Hatt and Mister Percival got out of the coaches and the narrow gauge engines puffed into the yard.

"Molly, you've done well with Rusty at your side, therefore.." Sir Topham Hatt Said.

"You will become the official Crovan's Gate Station Pilot!" Mister Percival Announced.

Molly smiled in shock and happiness.

"And Rusty, your part of the deal will happen too, you will be put on a flatbed tomorrow and taken to the museum at Great Waterton and remember, do not worry, Rusty will be back in two days." Sir Topham Hatt Declared.

Thomas and The Narrow Gauge Engines whistled their loudest. Once they stopped, Rusty honked and Molly whistled. Thomas then puffed away with Sir Topham Hatt and Mister Percival inside of Annie and Clarabel.
