chapter 37: The beast of fire, part 1

The next day.

Today is the day the guys are about to face the third guardian of the ark. They are finally going to deal with whoever is at the red obelisk. Right now the guys are traveling on their tamed creatures as they have full tek armor on. The guys are now getting close to the red obelisk with nakedzombo on his amargasaurus with the artifacts strapped behind the saddle. They took the path that goes around and up to the terminal of the obelisk. They put the creatures around the platform of the obelisk as they get off to check the terminal.

Vanoss: so is everything ready

Wildcat: you bet I'm ready

Delirious: I can't wait to fight whoever it is

Basically: speaking of which, who is it

Nogla: ya what guardian is it

Terroriser: I'll check it

Terroriser went to the terminal and sees what guardian it is. He opens the terminal as a hologram screen pops up. A list of the artifacts they just got, but what caught his eyes the most was the picture and the name of guardian. This guardian they are fighting is something terroriser didn't expect to fight.

Wildcat: well what is it?

Terroriser: a dragon

Nogla: a what!

Terroriser: it's a dragon guys

Nakedzombo: holy shoot

Vanoss: we are literally going up against a dragon

HLN-A: *appears out of nowhere* yup it's time that you guys are fighting a dragon

Nogla: hey wait a minute I say a long time ago that if there are dragons here

HLN-A: I didn't want to say but yes

Nogla: no wonder why you didn't answer my question

Basically: a dragon that breaths fire is something we are challenging for

HLN-A: yup and I decided to watch ya fight it

Wildcat: really

HLN-A: yup

Vanoss: ok than, so is everyone ready

All: yes!

Vanoss: than let's do this

Nakedzombo gives terroriser the artifacts and terroriser puts it by the terminal. Than terroriser activates the terminal as it takes the artifacts and begins to create an energy dome. They get ready for the arena as they can see the arena being somewhat a fire place. Once the dome is fully form a flash of light appears as they now see everything white.

Than everything went back to normal and the guys can now see where their at. They look to see a giant volcano that looks like it's going to blow up. In the spot they are at looks to be an old abandoned temple of some sort. The whole place is hot as fire is seen and a river of lava is everywhere. There just one thing missing, where is the guardian.

Delirious: where is it

Vanoss: I don't know but look sharp

Wildcat: it can be anywhere

Basically: technically it can be flying somewhere

Next they felt the ground shaking, the guys look to see the volcano was about to explode. The volcano erupted into a massive fire as a ball of flame shoot out from it. But something else happened, the ball of flame turn twords them which looks impossible. The ball of flame lands by them as it crashes into an explosion of fire. The guys shield themselves from the flash as I died down. The guys look to see it and turns out to be what they are looking for. A dragon that stood their looks at them with a menacing look with hellfire eyes. It's teeth are razer sharp like swords and it's throat is glowing red fire.
