The Flash: Running back home

2: Life without Barry Allen

It has been a week since Barry went to another Earth to stop the Reverse Flash,  Cisco left Star Labs with his Girlfriend Kamilla Hwang, they moved to Star City. Cisco became the director of Technology and Science for A.R.G.U.S, but he visits every now and then ever since Barry disappeared, Cisco also passed down his responsibilities to Chester.

Iris was being strong for Nora, she misses her husband very much, but she knew she had to be strong for her daughter.

Joe knocked on the door of Barry and Iris' apartment, Iris opened the door and saw her dad.

"Hey dad, what are you doing here?" Iris faked her smile.

"Hey babygirl, I just came to check on you and Nora." Joe said as he knew his daughter was having a hard time since his son-in-law left.

"Aw, that's sweet, come in." Iris opened the door wide and Joe came in.

"So, Where's my granddaughter?" Joe asked.

"Nora is sleeping." Iris said, Joe knew what was going on.

"You miss Barry don't you?" Joe asked.

"Of course I miss my husband dad! I can't live without him.." tears started forming in Iris' eyes.

"Honey its ok to be upset, I get you, but you can't always be strong." Joe said.

"I-i have to dad, for Nora." Iris' voice started to break.

"Well, Nora is not here now but I am, its ok to let it out once in a while." Joe said, Iris started to cry.

"I miss him, dad, I miss him so much." Iris hugged her dad.

"I know baby, its not easy." Joe said while rubbing her back.

Iris continued crying, she misses Barry so much, she would always dream of her husband coming back or sleeping beside her. Everyone knows what Iris is going through and gave her space, Iris still works for "The Citizen" while Nora stays with her Grammy Cecile.

"Try to stay strong baby, As Barry would say, keep running." Joe said, Iris looked at him.

"I will, thanks dad." Iris hugged Joe, after they chatted Joe left and Iris checked on Nora, she was still sleeping like an angel.

Before Barry left, He thought his wife to cook, from pancakes, to pie and so on.
Iris cooked dinner and woke up Nora, they ate dinner, after they watched tv and played some games. When it reached to Nora's bedtime, Iris tucked Nora in her bed.

"Do you want to read a story Nora?" Iris smiled, Nora nodded as Iris sat down beside her bed.

After Nora fell a sleep, Iris went to their bedroom, she looked at the wedding picture of Her and Barry.

"I miss you..." tears started falling down of Iris' cheeks.
"I promise I will keep running for you." Iris said, looking at the picture.

Iris changed into Barry's hoodie and fell asleep.

The next day...
Iris woke up after a dream, and you guess it. It was a dream about Barry, she stood up and took a shower. After, she cooked breakfast and heard sounds from Nora upstairs.

"Good morning Nora." Iris' picked up her daughter and kissed her head, making Nora giggle.

"Come on, let's have breakfast." Iris took Nora downstairs and fed her.

Time skip when Iris and Nora are in Star labs.

"Hey smol Flash." Chester booped Nora's nose, Nora waved her arms in superspeed that made wind blew to Chester's face.

"Woah, she's a fast learner." Chester chucked.

"Ya.." Iris said.

"Are you ok boss?" Allegra asked.

"Ya, I am fine Allegra." Iris said, putting Nora in a baby chair designed for her.

As then a whoosh came, it was Wally.

"Wally?!" Iris hugged her brother.

"Hey sis, Hey everybody." Wally said as Iris let go.

"Who's Wally?" Cester and Allegra asked.

"Wally here is my brother and he is also Kid Flash." Iris said.

"Oh, nice to meet you." Allegra said.

"Ya, you to Allegra." Wally smiled.

"Another speedster? That is so cool!" Chester said, stunned.

"Haha, thanks. So...where's Barry?" Wally asked, Wally didn't knew about Barry went to another earth to stop the Reverse Flash.

"Guys..? Is something wrong?" Wally asked.

"Wally..." Chester said.

"Barry went.." Iris couldn't finish, her heart started breaking.

"Barry what Iris?" Wally asked confused what was going on.

"Barry went to another earth to stop Thawne." Iris said as tears started forming, Wally gasped.

"I am so sorry for mentioning I-"

"Its ok, you didn't know." Iris hugged Wally and started sobbing on his chest.

"I wish I could see him again." Iris sobbed.

"He will come back for you, he loves you." Wally said.

The alram started blaring, the two siblings let go.

"Shapeshifter at infantino street." Chester said as Wally whoosed away.

"Hey." Kid Flash said. The Shapeshifter turned around.

"Kid Flash." The Shapeshifter turned into a cheetah and ran to Wally and tackled it.

Wally was able to phase through the floor and behind the Shapeshifter, he kicked him out and lock him with the metacuffs.

"That was easy." Wally took the meta and lock him in the Pipeline.

"Easiest one yet." Wally and Chester gave eachother a High five.

Time skip.
Iris amd Nora left star labs to the apartment, Nora was already asleep and Iris just smiled. She picked up Nira and set her down in her bed.

Iris went to the bedroom and changed into a barry's hoodie, she doesn't sleep in any clothes except his hoodie and a pair of shorts.

"I will keep running for you Barry." Iris fell asleep.

Meanwhile...on Earth 3..

A two speedsters were fighting another, trying all their might to win.

"You will never win *****!" The speedster said.

"You're wrong ******, you'll never win!"  The other one spit back.

"Let's see who's the winner." The third one said as they all started to fight.

"You two will never win!" The speedster in yellow said.

"We'll see about that.."

They all started to fight, one of them kicked the younger one. But still fot back up, the other one punchwd the yellow speedster and came flying.

"You will never win!" The red old one said.

"Lets see about..." the yellow one stabbed the scarlet speedster with a long sharp claw like Savitar's.

"You lose Barry..."
"Kid!"

That was the last thing he heard......
