The Flash: Running back home

5: A suprise

"Flash!" Jay ran in superspeed to Barry who passed out.

Barry finally won, the reverse Flash is gone, but he was covered in bruises, his lip was cut.

"I need to get you to Caitlin." Jay picked up Barry and opened a breach to Earth Prime.

Jay ran to earth prime and on his way to Star labs, Barry woke up and sped to jitters.

"Barry! What happened?" Jay asked as Barry sat on the alley way.

"I...I am ok Jay." Barry said.

"Barry look at you kid, you're bleeding." Jay helped Barry sit up.

"I did it?" Barry said as he stood up.

"Yes, now you need to go to Caitlin." Jay said.

"I can't be seen in Star labs!" Barry said.

"No, you need to heal." Jay said like a father.

"Please, I don't want to cause them troubl-" Barry coughed out blood.

"Ok maybe not Star labs, but at the loft." Jay said.

"No! Definately not in front of Iris and Nora." Barry said as he sat down.

"It's Nora's birthday Barry, and I am sure her one and only wish is to meet his Father." Jay kneeled down to Barry.

"I don't want Nora to see her Father bleeding." Barry whispered.

"That's why we need Caitlin to help you." Jay said.

"No...please." Barry ran away as Jay followed him.

Barry was so weak, but he kept running he didn't notice that he was going to his and his wife's apartment.

Meanwhile:

Nora blew the candles on her cake, everyone clapped, they ate the food and sang the happy birthday song.

"Can we open presents now?" Nora asked.

"Sure." Iris said as Nora started to open the first present.

"Woah!" Nora pulled out a tiger stuff toy.

"It's so cute!" Nora hugged it tightly, everyone smiled.

Nora grabbed the next gift, but something was off, something inside was .....moving?

Nora opened the box and saw a black and white kitten.

Nora gasped, "A kitten?!" Nora took the kitten out of the box and petted it.

"I'll name you Fluffy!" Nora smiled big.

Everyone laughed as they continued the party until....

Barry crashed into the window then he passed out, Iris covered Nora who was hugging the kitten and the others were shock who they saw.

"B-Barry?" Iris looked at the unconcious scarlet speedster, his face was covered in bruises, he was bleeding badly.

"Mommy, who is he?" The confused Nora asked.

"H-he....he is your Daddy..." Iris said as Nora's eys widened.

"He's Daddy?!" A very happy Nora said.

"Yes..." Iris turned to Barry and knelt down, she saw the cut on his lip, she stroke his hair.

"We need to get him to Star labs." Iris looked at the team, they all nodded.

After getting Barry to Star labs...

Caitlin was stitching Barry's wounds, The others were waiting outside.

"Mommy?" Nora asked.

"Yes Nora?" Iris looked at her daughter.

"Why did Daddy crashed into the window? And why was he wearing a costume?" Nora asked.

"It's a long story sweety, but if he wakes up, we'll tell you." Iris siad sweetly, Nora nodded, just then Caitlin went out of the medbay.

"How is he?" Iris asked.

"He's bleeding badly, he's injured, but I managed to stitch him up." Caitlin said.

"Can we see him?" Iris asked, Caitlin nodded as She and Nora went in.

"Hey Barry..." Iris sat down on one of the chairs.

"Please, wake up." Iris said as she held his hand.

"Hi Daddy." Nora said as she looked at her father.

"I hope you wake up soon..." Nora said.

"Mommy, can you tell me his name?" Nora asked.

"His name is Barry, Barry Allen. But your father's full name is Bartholomew Henry Allen." Iris said.

"Bartholomew? Doesn't sound like a nice name." Nora said as Iris chuckled.

"That's what your father said." Iris said remembering that moment.

Just then, Barry slowly opened his eyes as he squeezed Iris' hand.

"Oww....w-where am I?" Barry said as he has a pounding head ache."

"Barry!" Iris hugged Barry as the others walked in.

"I-Iris?" Barry said as he hugged back tightly.

"Yes Barry, it's me..." Iris said as she sobbed on his shoulder.

The whole team hugged Barry, when they let go, Barry noticed Nora.

"Hello Nora.." Barry said as Nora whoosed to him for a hug.

"This is the best birthday ever..." Nora sobbed.

"Hey hey, don't cry." Barry picked up Nora, and hugged her.

"Daddy.." Nora wiped her tears and picked up her new kitten.

"This is Fluffy, Uncle Cisco gaved it to me." Nora smiled.

Barry chuckled, "that's nice Nora."

Nora got off Barry, Iris kissed Barry and he kissed back, they broke the kiss as everybody was starring at them.

"Barry, is Thawne gone?" Joe asked.

"Yes, he's gone for good." Barry smiled.

"Dude! We missed you!" Cisco gave Barry a bro hug.

"I missed you too Cisco." Barry chuckled.

Time skip....

Barry, Iris, and Nora were back at the loft, Nora went upstairs to play with Fluffy, so Barry and Iris have sometime for themselves.

Barry pushed Iris on the couch, "It has been 2 years since I last kissed you." Barry smirked.

"You kissed me at Star labs." Iris said.

"Ya, but still." Barry kissed Iris.

The two continued kissing eachother, enjoting eachother's presence. Now that Barry is back, Iris' life is normal once again....
