carmen put her phone down and i got changed into a different outfit as the one she was wearing had been worn while travelling so it started getting uncomfy and grabbed a bag to put a swimsuit and towel in. she also did some light make-up and put her hair in a clawclip. the girl told her mom and brother to get a swimsuit if they wanted to get in the pool, valentina politely declined and mateo grabbed a swimsuit and towel which carmen had in her bag aswell

"carmen mateo you guys ready to head over" valentina called her children "coming mom" they both called as they went downstairs. once everyone was down they headed across the road. valentina knocked on the door "hey guys" jessica opened the door "hey" the rodriguez family smiled "come in come in , im just finishing cooking , the kids are upstairs if you want to go hang out with them" jessica said , looking at carmen and mateo speaking the last part "kids theyre here" jess called up the stairs "hey" jayla said running down the stairs "hi" carmen smiled as jayla embraced her into a hug "come upstairs me and the boys are live" jayla said as they carmen and mateo followed get upstairs "hey guys" carmen said as she walked into jaylas room "hey" jaden and javon turned round "come sit" jayla waved the rodriguez siblings over. they came and say down carmen sat in the middle of jaden and jayla and mateo sat next to javon "how did you guys meet" jayla read out from the lives chat "thats something for jaden and carmen to say" jayla chuckled "ok so basically carmen got the wrong number and it turned out to be mine so yeah thats how we met" jaden explained "yup thats exactly how our friendship formed" carmen smiled "guys mom said dinner is almost done so you gotta come downstairs" daelo came into the bedroom "okays bye guys we'll see you soon" everyone said bye before the live was ended "hey carmen jaden likes you by the way" daelo said to carmen "is that so buddy" carmen laughed at the younger boy "its not daelo shut up you dont know nothing" jaden defended as he blushed "jaden dont lie to yourself bro you legit said the other day" javon laughed as the kids all walked down stairs "I didnt say shit" jaden punched his brother in the arm "lets just go and eat" "he totally likes you" jayla whispered to carmen making her laugh "does he really" carmen whispered back "yeah he talks about you all the time but he just doesnt want to admit it soon he will though trust me" jayla said as the two walked into the dining room "do you like him" jayla asked "i dont know maybe , we have only known each other for a month so its a bit too soon to know" carmen shrugged as she sat down.
after everyone ate, they got ready to get in the pool. "hey carmen come over here for a sec" mateo called his sister over "what do you want" carmen said. mateo didnt answer he just pushed her into the pool. "you bitch" carmen said as she wiped her hair out of her face when she resurfaced "help me out now" she raised her hand "no your gonna pull me in" mateo denied "why would i do that , just help me out tao its cold" carmen said " ugh fine" mateo said giving his hand to his sister and she did in fact pull him into the water. "you're annoying" mateo huffed everyone who wasnt in the pool laughed at the two siblings. for a few hours in the evening the kids all played in the pool.
"its getting cold I'm getting out" carmen shivered climbing out the pool wrapping her towel around herself. she sat on the side of the pool for a while talking to the others so she wasn't alone "im getting out now , carmen wanna come watch something on the tv with me" jaden said "yeah sure , i need to get out of my swimsuit anyways" carmen nodded following jaden inside "you can get changed in my bathroom" jaden told carmen "do you need any clothes "jaden asked "uh yeah i dont really feel like putting my dress back on to be honest" carmen said "k have this" jaden gave her a shirt and a pair or shorts of his "thanks" carmen thanked him before walking into the bathroom to get changed. "im dressed you can come out when your ready" jaden called to carmen. carmen just finshed getting changed as she heard that. "what do you wanna watch" jaden asked "i dont know whatever" carmen shrugged "here you choose something im gonna go get some food from downstairs for us to snack on" jaden said giving the controller to carmen.
carmen scrolled through netflix and disney plus to see what ideas there are to watch. "found something" jaden asked putting the snacks on the bed "what about thor ragnarok" carmen asked "sure" jaden said as he got comfortable. the two teens watched some movies for a few hours . at some point carmen and jaden both fell asleep.
"carmen we're- jayla javon look at these two" mateo called his two new best friends "awh thats adorable" jayla said " i dont like her he said, sure abt that jaden " javon mocked what his brother said earlier "i gotta take a pic of this" jayla said getting her phone out "is your sister coming mateo" valentina asked her son walking up the stairs "doesn't look like it , she sleeping" mateo shrugged "oh should we leave her it wake her up" valentina asked "im sure mom and dad will be ok with her staying the night , i'll go ask them now" jayla went downstairs , everyone else followed behind her "mom carmen is asleep with jaden is it ok if she stays the night" jayla asked jessica "yeah of could thats no problem" jessica said "thanks jess" valentina smiled " no problem , i'll send her back tomorrow " jess smiled. "right I'm getting tired so im gonna head home ,tao you coming" valentina said "yeah i am bye guys it was nice meeting you" mateo said as he headed towards the door "it was nice meeting you too".
