Eleven

If I told you what was happening right now you would probably be freaked out. This Molly chick is sending messages in my brain. Or something like that. We both can hear it, that voice. I know it.

Slowly my back hits the shelf of clothing behind me making me gasp.

"Carter, it's okay. I won't hurt you, I promise. I just need to tell you to meet Luke at eleven thirty at the corner by your apartment." She smiled a little making sure I wasn't going to freak out again. But she had no idea what was going through my mind. Meet Luke at the corner of my street. Meet a creature to this world in the middle of night,alone. Oh god, I'm absolutely out of my mind. Ignoring my thoughts I nod slowly staring up at Molly before she rushes out the door.

Rubbing my temples I mumbled curse words quietly. This was so out of my league.

The air is humid and the street light is flickering making this even more creepier than it already is. My eyes are searching the street as I look around for Luke. But no, he's still not here. It's only eleven twenty,but I was already outside so I thought why not just wait. Sighing I sit down on the corner of the street watching as a small ant walks around in circles. A small giggle leaving my lips.

"Um..." A deep voice says from above me. My eyes widen and I freeze slowly looking up to see Luke. His hands awkwardly in his pockets as he watches me watch the ant.

"W-What do you want? Please tell me." I said standing up so I could be at his height. Even though he's still taller than me.

"Carter,you wouldn't understand at the moment,b-but you have to trust me." He said running his hand through his hair, his voice seemed to be annoyed.

"How can I trust a creature like you? I don't even no what you are...okay maybe I have some idea what you are,but I don't like to admit that." I said quickly staring at the floor.

"Luke, I really don't want to be pulled into what ever this is, I want to have my life back." I pushed my hair back behind my ear looking at Luck. His face seemed in a daze as he watched me speak.

"Luke?" I asked nervously as his eyes flashed red before turning back to the pretty blue they normally are.

"L-Luke, p-please don't h-hurt me..." I stumbled on my words as I watched him walk closer to me his eyes flashing to red every few seconds.

"Carter you want a normal life?! Really?! Look at me! Do you not think I want a normal life! Cause I sure as hell want one!" He screamed at me making my eyes water. His arm muscles flexed as he quickly folded them over his chest walking back and forth in front of me.

Than its silent.

"Luke what did you need me for?" I asked quietly as he slowly looks over at me.

He shakes his head before dropping his hands from his chest.
"Carter...your special.It's hard to explain but... you have a power in you that no one else in this world has. A power that...can help us..." Luke stares at me intently watching my expression change.

"What are you talking about?"I laugh a little bit finding it funny that he thinks that I can help them. They have much much more powers than me.

He shook his head slowly rubbing his temples. "Its to detailed to explain it but I need you to believe me..."
