Lips trembling in fear I quickly shut the door to the apartment. It's quiet, so I'm assuming Ben is in bed. Taking a step further into the apartment I take a deep breath. The kitchen is clean for once opening up a cabinet I grab a glass filling it with water. Right now my brain is jumbled with way to many thoughts at once. Turning off the sink I set the glass down, I don't even want to look at the clock to see what time it is. Work tomorrow is going to be a disaster, Calum better be there to help me out. I hope he does't question me on why I left early. How would I even tell him? He would never believe me.
Walking into the mess of my room I sigh laying down on my bed. Its covers are pulled to the side, pillows thrown around. Luke said I had something that could help him. What was it that I out of everyone in the world had? He needed me to help more then just himself though, he needed me to help all of them.
Rolling onto my side I stare out the window of my bedroom, when is my life ever going to be normal? Closing my eyes I wish for a world where my life would be perfect. A world where no vampires existed.

The sound of my phone buzzing wakes me up from my amazing sleep. Sitting up I grab the phone pressing the green button.
"Where are you?" Calum asked his voice annoyed, confused I pulled the phone away from my face. reading the time in the top corner I almost dropped the phone onto my bed.
"Calum, shit! I'm on my way!" Throwing the covers off of me I run to my closet throwing on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. It was the only thing I could find in the span of five minutes.
Ben sits on the couch a cup of coffee in his hands he looks up at me,his eyes tired.
"Hey,listen I have to go. I slept in and Calum called...bye! I'll be home later!" Slamming the door shut I rush down the hall pressing the button on the elevator.
It's windy making it feel even more colder then it actually is. Running down the street people stare at me like some kind of animal loose from quickly zoo.
This week has been such a roller coaster.
