For context, I looked up the meaning of Ichika and saw that it apparently (according to google) meant one thousand flowers so I, therefore concluded that Ichika likes flowers. Her actual name meaning (according to the project Sekai wiki) is a child born through a bond created by one song.👍🏽
3rd person POV:
Honami was so excited. Today was the day she was gonna propose to Ichika. She wanted to make it a special and unforgettable experience. They knows Ichika loves flowers, so she wanted to add flowers to the proposal. She went to Shiho and Saki for advice.
"Ooh! Maybe you can see if there are any numbers in her name meaning! Her name has Ichi in it which means one, so maybe that can help you determine how many flowers you should get!" Saki exclaimed.
"Thank you, Saki! But what if it's a large number? I don't know where to get a lot of flowers from..."
"Most flower shops take requests. Maybe you can ask. I don't think a shop would turn down such a special request. It's like when Rui became the director for the wedding." Shiho explained.
"How did you know about that wedding?" Saki asked, " I don't remember telling you about it.." She muttered.
" You told everyone in Leo/Need. You said it while you were bragging about being so good at taking care of Tsukasa." Shiho said.
" Oh😶"
" I'll look up the meaning. Thank you for the help!" Honami said, getting up to leave.
" You're welcome! Drive safely!" Saki said.
Ichika POV:
"How many pies should I order for this? She usually gets at least 10, so maybe I'll just get ten. But this is a special occasion! Maybe I could bump it up to 20?"
" Ichika? Who are you talking to?" Nene asked, sneaking up behind me.
" Huh? Oh, Hello Nene! I was thinking about proposing to Honami, but I just don't know how many pies to get here.."
" Honami? Oh! They're your girlfriend, right?"
" Soon to be fiancé if I do this right.."
" Emu told me that Honami liked pies, so I think you should get her at least 15. Emu likes stickers, so for her birthday, I got her a bunch. I think Honami would love it😊"

ONE THOUSAND FLOWERS?! Where am I gonna get 1000 flowers from?! I could get them from the flower shop on Main Street, but I don't know how long it would take to make that bouquet... I need the bouquet by Monday, if it only takes a day to make the bouquet, I'd need to hide it somewhere, which would be difficult, but if it takes 2 days then that would be perfect! But what if it takes 3 days? It'll be late! Maybe I could go ask...
I should be able to walk there.

3rd person POV:
"Um, excuse me?"
"Oh, yes?"
"I'm sorry to disrupt your conversation. This might be a big request, and it's fully okay if you refuse! But I wanted to propose to my girlfriend with 1000 flowers since she likes flowers and that's the meaning of her name. Again it's completely okay if you decline!" Honami rambled.
" What time do you need them by?" The florist asked.
"I need them by Monday. We're taking each other out to our favorite places and I want to surprise her with it at the end."
The florist looked at their schedule, she read it carefully before smiling. " We can get the bouquet to you by Monday! Are there any specific flowers that she'd like?"
Honami thought for a moment. Ichika would go on hour-long rants about her favorite flowers while Honami baked, but she talked about Aster flowers a lot.
"Do you have Aster flowers?"

Ichika approached Honami's favorite pie place hesitantly. Ichika isn't good with words, and she didn't want to fuck this up by asking the wrong question. Honami rants about her favorite pies while Ichika checks up with her flowers. Honami's favorite pie flavors are Apple, Blueberry, and Key Lime, but they liked Apple the most. So Ichika was set out on ordering 20 Apple pies for pickup on Monday.
She approached the register warily. "Do you take pickup orders?"
"Only for special occasions. What's your special occasion?"
"I want to propose to my girlfriend! She likes Apple pie, so I wanted to surprise them with her favorite."
"Ooh! A proposal!! How many pies do you need?"
"20..."
"Alrighty, and when are you picking them up?"
"Monday, We're taking each other out for a small date and I want to surprise her at the end of it."
" That's cute! What time are you picking them up?"
"17:00."
" Alright, you're all set! Can I get a name for the order?"
" Ichika Hoshino."
" See you on Monday, Ichika!"
" Thank you for your help!"
Ichika walked out smiling. She was proud that went well.
