"You'll get to know her, eventually. Just like me."
So his name is Mike. He kinda seems like an asshole. A badass one though. I bet he would date a killer girlfriend. He seems pretty moody though.
"Whatever."
"Thanks guys, and nice to meet you Mike. You seem cool."
"Thanks? Nice to meet you too?"
"Yeah thanks. I got to go meet-up with Steve! Cya."
"Bye! Might see you when ill see Steve."
I walked away towards my locker. I dumped all my homework sheets and books in it. I dont feel like caring about my homework at the moment. Yeah Steve said to get good grades but I still have tomorrow for homework.
I quickly closed my locker and got out of the school getting the note out of my bag. And tried to follow the directions that were written on the note.
It was very confusing but after half an hour of trying I found the place he works at. I got in and a girl greeted me smiling tiredly.
"Hello! If you need any help im right here."
"Oh uhm, Steve works here right?"
"Yeah. I'll go get him. Steve! There's a kid here for you!"
Soon I saw Steve basically running to the front and pulling me into a hug. It felt pretty weird at first. But soon enough I hugged him back.
"How was your first day of school little one?"
"It was alright, Dustin left me at the principals office but I managed to find a way to my classes and I might join an after school club."
"That's great, y/n. I'm glad you're already interested in those clubs."
"Yeah, Dustin's in it. I asked him about it and he'll ask the club leader if I may join."
"So you're getting along with him?"
"Yeah pretty much."
"Thats amazing!"
"Yup, but till what time do you have to work."
"Uhh.. till 4:30."
"Thats gonna take forever!"
"Yeah, sorry. But I bet you have things to do right, like homework?"
"I left my homework at school but I have my walkman and sketchbook with me so ill be alright."
"Have fun, you can sit behind the counter or in the back."
"Thanks Steve."
I gave him a warm smile and got behind the counter. I went to a door that would lead me to the back and just sat on the ground against the wall.
