[Damien's P.O.V]I Sat In My Cell, Staring At The Ceiling. All I Could Do Was Patiently Wait For My Court Date So I Could Be Released From This Hell Hole. I Closed My Eyes And Sighed.
"You Know...It's Not Your Fault." I Heard A Familiar Voice Say. I Opened My Eyes And Came Face To Face With My First Love. Layla's Mom.CNN ov
"What The Fuck? Jen...How The Fuck...." I Stuttered.
"What's Wrong? You're Acting Like You've Seen A Ghost." She Said Laughing.
"Clearly I Am Seeing Ghost If You're Right Here!" I Snapped.
"Calm Down. I Had To Come See You. I've Noticed You Keep Blaming Yourself For A Lot Of Things, But I'm Here To Let You Know That It's Not Your Fault." She Said. Her Green Eyes Were Wide And Sincere. I Swear Her And Layla Were Twins!
"It Is My Fault. I Wasn't There To Protect Her When She Needed Me The Most, And Now I'm In Here While She's Out There With That Damn Boy!" I Said.
"Jalen Is A Nice Boy. He's Taking Very Good Care Of Her. For The Most Part Anyways." She Said.
"What You Mean By That?" I Asked.
"Damien...Our Little Girl Is Pregnant." She Said. My Eyes Widened As I Tried To Sit Up.
"Calm Down! Calm Down!" She Said.
"What The Fuck You Mean She's Pregnant? She's Only 16, And She Just Had A Miscarriage!" I Snapped.
"I Know. I Know. But They've Been Having Unprotected Sex. She Doesn't Even Know. And That's Not Even The Worst Part." She Said.
"I Doubt That It Can Get Any Worse." I Said.
"She's Pregnant With Twins." She Said. I Damn Near Had A Heart Attack!
"Twins? Twins!" I Snapped. This Is Some Bullshit! Ima Kill That Little Nigga Jalen With My Bare Hands!"You Will Not!" She Said.
"Will Not What?" I Asked.
"Harm Jalen! He's A Good Boy And He Loves Our Daughter!"
"I Bet He Do!" I Snapped. She Hugged Me Tight. For Her To Be A Ghost, She Felt 100% Real. I Buried My Face In Her Neck And Smelled Her Sweet Smell. I Missed Her So Much.
"I Miss You." I Said.
"I Miss You Too. I Know I Did You Wrong When We Were Together, And If I Were Still Alive Then I Would've Try To Make Us Work." She Said. She Leaned In And Kissed My Lips.
"When You Get Out....I Want You To Go To My House, Look In Layla's Old Room In Her Closet, And Lift Up Her Floor Board. There Is $10,000 I Saved Up So That Layla Could Go To College. Take That And Go. Go And Never Look Back." She Said.
"I Will. I Promise. I'm Going To Take Good Care Of Our Daughter." I Said.
"I Know You Will. It's Time For Me To Go." I Said.
"Will I Ever See You Again?" I Asked.
"Maybe...Maybe Not." She Said. I Sighed And Nodded. She Caressed My Cheek And Kissed My Forehead; Making Me Instantly Wake Up. I Looked Around My Empty Cell And Realized I Was Dreaming. At Least....I Think I Was Dreaming. I Definitely Had To Get My Life In Order For Layla, But I'd Have To Wait Until I Got Out Of Here.
