Epilogue

The team had earned a very nice vacation for their service, indeed. A month or so after they came home, they were on a beach. George and Valentino were building a sand castle, Sasha building a sand bulwark against the sea, and Scarlett was sitting under an umbrella with one of her Shadows. Commander said they were gonna be late, but they should be arriving soon. They came over, wearing a bikini, with what looked like a large cooler. Commander, holding a can of UlayCola, started to speak to everyone,"Hey guys! I brought some stuff for us! And a lil surprise. I thought that this would be a great time for it, because of the dramatic scenery, what with the sunset on the beach, but here! Everyone look away please!" Everyone looked away curiously while the sound of the box opening came out. They all heard running in the sand, and the sound of someone falling over, with a familiar laugh. Valentino looked bewildered, but when he looked at who had tackle-hugged him, he blushed and smiled very happily. Velvet was in her usual tank-top, but with swim-shorts, and she was cuddled up against Valentino very happily and laughing. Everyone spun around, Sasha ran over and had mixed feelings about seeing her back, but mainly happy. George chuckled and kept on building a sand castle, continuing where Valentino left off. Dave clapped at this spectacle and walked over to Commander, congratulating them. Scarlett let out an audible groan and her Shadow simply shrugged, continuing to stand still near her. Valentino hugged her back and started talking before a wave comes over and splashes them both. Commander started speaking with a very satisfied look on their face, "It certainly was hard to clear her system of the virus, and then the repairs and healing, took a while! But here she is, now you two have fun, and guys, I did actually bring drinks and stuff too!" Everyone's morale was really high, and they were all happy. Valentino got up and pulled Velvet into a tight hug, kissing her once on the cheek, "Maybe take the god damn Amoxicillin next time-!" She playfully gave him a lil punch before relaxing against him, speaking, "Hah, yeah sure, if we ever have to go back to that hell. But, now that I'm conscious again, let's all have fun, aye?" Valentino nodded, and now, the team was truly whole. They got to finally meet Commander, Dave was revived, and Velvet was revived.
