Abandoned Warehouse, Kamino
Nothingness, if he could describe the place and his feelings at that moment, they could be summed up in that one word. There standing in the void, Izuku couldn't help but cringe at how empty he felt. The fact that this wasn't the first time, didn't help either.
" Kid, co–me h–ere " A deep voice echoed throughout the surroundings betraying the position of the owner in that endless pit.
Izuku wanted to flee, run away from his calling, anything to feel whole again. The blankness of the moment was starting to eat him away.
"J-Just leave me alone, p-please" he sniffed, he lost count on how many times he had been in this wretched place, begging to be spared from this routine session of torment.
" Sleep, Child... " Another voice whispered into his ears while a hand materialised itself and covered his eyes and Izuku felt utter calmness wash over him, soon he collapsed on the ground, blacked out.
" I am here... "
Izuku woke up in a cold sweat, his heart frantically beating against its cage of ribs as he vividly remembered the ominous voice that had become the bane of his existence. It had been over a year since the same nightmare occurred over and over again, yet its impact was all the same. The ordeal would fade into the day but the eerily emptiness remained.
"Looks like the pills didn't work, not like i expected them to anyway" He grumbled as he threw another bottle of useless medication in the dustbin.
He glanced at his alarm clock and noted that it was almost 5 a.m. and went to take a bath to freshen up. As he was picking up his towel and other bathing supplies, he surveyed his surroundings.
"The warehouse still looks the same, it's as if it was only yesterday when he was here with me" the greenette murmured and climbed down the stairs to get to the bath.
After about 15 minutes, he came out fully dressed and looked over himself in the mirror, standing at 5'7, he had gained a more muscular physique but he wouldn't say he was buff. With a curly unkempt tuft of green locks over his head, sporting a black formal suit and his classic red sneakers he was ready for the day.
"Now, let's hope this school doesn't reject me too" He grumbled to himself and grabbed the folder of documents that were placed on the table at the entrance of the warehouse and closed the door behind him.
Two hours train ride later, Musutafu City
Izuku sighed as the nostalgia of being back in the city of his birth hit him , he hadn't been here for about 10 years, it was just too hard to be in the place that took his mother away.
'Not the time, I got a meeting to attend '
He wiped away a tear that threatened to spill from his eyes and looked ahead at the gigantic gates of the school with the inscription "Mustafa Private Highschool"
"Well, judging from the fees they will be charging me, they are private alright" He spoke dryly and navigated his way towards the principal's office. With a little help from a kind receptionist at the front desk, he spotted the room with modern glass doors and knocked on it.
"Come in"
Izuku entered the office and noted the principal to be a middle aged lady with a very formal vibe. She was sitting behind her desk and at the back of her chair was what seemed to be a ginormous showcase of all the trophies the students must've won during their time here. All in all the environment was pretty intimidating.
