Third person POV
Katherine awoke to Ethan's foot on her face, as was routine. Chris, on the other hand, awoke to his dog licking his face.
Because she missed Zayn, Chris was overjoyed about the wedding, whereas Katherine just wanted to cry and watch sad movies. He was the only true boyfriend/lover she'd ever had.
How did she wind up in this dilemma? However, she must be brave in order to deal with this. Katherine feels obligated to help her family because she overheard her parents discussing her father's business going bankrupt.
She went to take a shower with Ethan after wiping her tears away. They both spent some time in the water before getting ready for breakfast.
Ethan was drooling all over her as she went into the dining room. With a kiss on the cheek, she greeted her mother and father. Katherine and Enzo exchanged their classic handshake, which they invented when they were both five years old. Andre, on the other hand, remained silent. Despite the fact that he understands it is not her fault, she only wanted to protect her father. He was more upset with himself for not being able to protect his father and for his young sister having to sacrifice her own happiness in order to do so.
As their little love bug got married, Katherine's family smothered her with attention. They were making the best of the situation, despite the fact that the circumstances were not ideal.
The makeup and hair stylists arrived after some time. Katherine had already showered when they came, so she let them get to work on her hair and make-up. She couldn't help but worry how things would be after they married throughout the process. Will she, as in the movies, find her happily ever after? Is her prince on his way to save her?
But, as much as she didn't want to acknowledge it, a part of her was drawn to Chris. She even saw her entire happily ever after with Chris at one point, but she quickly shook the images out of her head since she still wanted to pretend she loved Zayn because he was her first love. But who can convince her that just because he was her first love, he won't be her last?
Her makeup was finished after nearly an hour. All neutral and natural tones were used to create a gentle glowy glam look. This is a lovely black wing liner. Her hair was pulled back into a neat bun with a few strands dangling. Her nude nails were almond shaped to match her engagement ring.
One of the maids handed off the things Chris had sent for her while she was getting her cosmetics and hair done. Her clothing is most certainly part of that. A stylist took a box from the bags and opened it. The first is a pair of white pencil heels that she wore.
Katherine's jaw was wide open in disbelief as the lady opened the second package. Her wedding gown, to be exact. It was a big, fluffy dress. It was a full sleeve dress with a square neckline that revealed a lot of her cleavage. It was designed with beads and sequins all over.
Katherine was taken aback by the other package, and she couldn't help but wonder how much her entire outfit cost. Her earrings were basic but matched well with her necklace and attire, and the box contained her jewelry, which was large and full of diamonds.
The stylist then pulled Katherine's veil and assisted her in putting it on. Her veil was beaded and had designs that complemented her dress.

Katherine watched herself in the mirror. She was stunned, and tears welled up in her eyes as she was overcome with emotion. She had imagined this identical scenario before, but not at this time or in this form. The timing was around 2:30 p.m., and the reception would begin at three p.m. Her family was waiting for her downstairs so they could all go together.
She went downstairs after leaving her room. The rest of her family stood up from their seats and stared at her with teary eyes as she proceeded down the stairs. As soon as she stepped downstairs, her mother ran up to her and hugged her tenderly, careful not to destroy her make-up or outfit.
'My love, you look stunning.' Her mother whispered in her ear, both of their eyes filled with tears.
Her father stepped up to her and hugged her as well. 'You look wonderful, love bug.' He was in tears as well. Their embrace lasted a few minutes since neither of them could bear to let go. Following that, Enzo did the same. Andre was carrying Ethan in his arms, both of their eyes wide as they stared at her. With tears in her eyes, Katherine approached him and whispered, 'Are you still mad at me?' Andre couldn't help but pull her into a desperate hug, kissing her on the forehead several times, causing Ethan to strictly tap Andre's chest.
They exited the house after hugging and kissing each other for a while. Katherine couldn't help but return to her trail of thoughts as they approached their destination. She was hoping for a good ending.
