Sally

The first thing I felt, as I got back, was the rough ground I was laying on. I smelled bark, summer leaf, grass and moss. I blinked several times and turned on my back ... or well, I wanted to turn on my back. Cause instead of more ground, there was nothing, but air. I fell to fast to react, so after a few moments, I hardly hit the ground. As I fell on it, all the air I needed to breath, was squeezed out of my lungs. I closed my eyes again and sharply inhaled the air. I tried to remember, once again, the last half an hour. But there was only an impenetrable blackness, as always.

I heard some leaves rustle and steps coming closer. Then the smell of herbs, wax and taint warm leather surrounded me. And as I opened my eyes, I looked right into a man's face. He was quiet tall, had shoulder long, slicked back, raven hair, pale skin and vivid emerald eyes. He kind of looked familiar to me, but I couldn't place him. He smiled mischievously, as he kneeled down beside me. << It seems that you are tougher than everyone had expected>> he meant, still grinning > I sat up and watched directly into his eyes, as I replied > He chuckled a little and stood up, saying

The drawing you made from Odin and Thor. How you killed one of the guards at least. And now I found you here.

All alone, undefended. In the forest, where Asgards most dangerous monsters live>> I stood up, ignoring the helping hand he offered. I was already tall for a woman, but he was nearly a head taller than me.

He looked quiet intelligent as well, but it seemed, that he could be feisty and mean, when not even evil. He studied me a while and said then, > Sounds interesting... > I asked him, though he conflicted > I huffed out loudly and thought for a moment, about what I could tell him, > I could have told him more, but he is still a stranger. I couldn't say, if I could trust him.

The man grinned still widely, as he stated, who he was. That's who I was talking to?! My favorite Norse god. I was kinda speechless. He chuckled again .

Loki

The mortal, Sally, was entertaining me. I thought how she could be helpful in my way. Maybe I should offer her something, she can't resist. She seemed not this intelligent in my eyes and she hadn't the experience in live I had. And after all I was kind of curious about her. > I asked her, to get some time. She hesitated. Maybe she thought about, if she could trust me. I personally wouldn't.

, I thought, as she nodded. I led her through the forest quietly. For a little while, we walked side by side. Her eyes fascinated me. The pupils of them are widening and narrowing continuously. First I thought the light was the cause of this phenomenon, but I reject this theory, when we crossed a sunny glade. She suddenly stood still and looked around nervously. I gave her a questioning look, but then I heard it as well. Footsteps angrily took through the forest and someone swearing silently.

The voice I heard was just too familiar. I quickly hid in the copse and already wanted to motion her, to follow my example, as I saw that she had already scaled one of the trees. I peered through the branches to the glade, which Thor entered this moment. He muttered and swore continuously, but I could not understand everything he said. Though what I understood, was not very nice and I had to resist the urge to bewitch him, once again, into a mangy pooch.

Thor stopped right under the one tree, where this mortal hid.

If he just had looked up, he would have discovered her. Then we, or at least, she would then be in trouble. But he luckily was a too ignorant oaf in doing it. After a couple of seconds he moved along.

I wanted wait a few more minutes, but Sally already jumped down the tree, she had been on. She stood in the shadows and looked around. I moved a bit, some leaves rustled slightly.

Her eyes darted right toward the place I hid and squinted her eyes, then, << Come 'on out. I can see you >> she said grinningly. I got out and watched at her curiously. How did she managed to see me from this distance? As I made my way up to her, as I saw a big shadow behind her.

She shortly froze and then turned around.

I heard a dark growl, coming out the shadows and this mortal spit (?) back in reply.

I stood completely still, concentrating on the dark part. Sally's body language changed from one second to another, like it did as she killed the guards. > I hissed toward her though she did not react and got into the dark part.
