I don't know why, but I liked it, when Thor was frightened. When he finally left, Loki stood for a couple of seconds, seemingly thinking. It was already pretty late here and I wondered, how I should explain myself, when I got home. Maybe time here moves faster and I only vanished for a few hours. But maybe time here goes slower and I may have already been missing for several days. << Something's bothering you >> Loki said with his deep, smooth voice. Though it sounded more like a statement, than a question.

<< Nothing to dwell on >> I answered, trying to convince myself. I flinched at the sudden touch of his cold hand on my shoulder <<You do not sound very sincere though >> a smile played slightly on his lips. I tried not to smirk and playfully rolled my eyes. I decided to read more about him, when I'm back home. But for now, I could question him personally about everything.  It seemed he had the same idea, 'cause we both started a question at the same time.

I told him to go on and he repeated his question << How comes it, that you have the pupils of a snake? >> Wow, so Asgard doesn't know cats. Though I replied << I don't exactly know, though I assume it has to do with my abilities... Oh and by the way, those are cat-pupils... >> He gave me a confused look, but shrugged it off. << And what did you ant to say? >> He reassured me. I smirked and replied << Due you're the god of mischief, I wanted to ask, which your greatest prank was... >> I needed some inspiration for the next April the first.

His typical mischievous, toothy grin appeared on his face, when he remembered << Oh, finally someone who appreciate my work. Ehehehe... My best prank is already a few decades ago. Youth already met Thor. Ehehehe... Well. It was also the cause of my imprisonment... There was no real reason for my prank, I had nothing much to do, except for studying magic... As usual Thor drank an ale, before he went to the training area. Sooo, when he did not pay attention, I poured a potion into his drink, which turned him... >> He started snorting hardly and held his stomach. I waited patiently 'til he regained himself <<Sorry, it was just too hilarious. So, the potion turned Thor into a WOMAN. And he had to wait, until they found out, who it did. Sure I was the first choice, but they could not prove it. Unfortunately they had found some leftovers of my potion in my chambers and compared them to those they had found left in the ale cup... Odin banished me for 450 years of prison and now I could break free with your help. After only 40 years... >> When he finally finished, I burst out laughing. Clutching my stomach, I fell on my knee, still laughing. I couldn't stop laughing and giggling and ended up rolling over the ground, laughing uncontrollably... Thor? A women? It's really the most hilarious thing I've ever heard! The GOD of thunder, the mighty Thor. The image, which formed in my head was undescribingly funny.

Loki

I thought, that I should think about her a second time. It seemed, that she was mischievous and always up for good pranks. As long as she wasn't the target. Still though I was impatiently. How long was she planning to go on with this? Her laughing was really annoying and made my ears literally bleed. Again. << I demand you to STOP laughing! My ears are bleeding! >> I growled at her, making her luckily stop. The mortal was laying on her back, looking up at me with teary eyes. Though there was a huge grin plastered across her features. I raised an eyebrow, looking dawn at her << Will you not want to get up? >> Her answer came quickly back, like Mjolnir << Why? I think it's rather comfortable. Why don't ya lay down as well? >> Her grin widened, when this is even more possible and patted the ground besides her. I really did not have time for this unnecessary doing of her. I shook my head no and turned around, walking a few steps away.

I concentrated myself and performanced the spell for portals. It was a very difficult spell and needed a lot of experience before to be used.

Unfortunately it required a lot of dark energy as well and it always drains my powers to the absolute minimum... So why am I helping her again? Oh yes. She is going to lead my army into a glorious battle. I will stay on Midgard so far, so I can win thousands of young, manipulative soldiers for me and as soon as they are assembled, I call her in.

I used Sally's memory to open the portal, so she would be at her home at once. As the portal was open, she had got up at least, I grasped her wrist and pulled us through the portal. We appeared on clearance, surrounded by large mountains. The passageway closed behind us.

I fell on my knees and before all went black, I heard Sally scream my name...

Sally

Before I knew what happened, Loki had paced through some sort of sparkling, shivering mirror, pulling me with him through it. As soon we went through it, the mirror-thing disappeared as fast as it appeared.

The sound of a thud came from beside me and when I looked what it was, I saw Loki had fallen on his knees. A scream of absolute shock escaped my lips and before he fell further, I caught him.

I carefully laid him down. Then my gaze went over the place we had stranded.

It was kind of familiar to me, but I couldn't put my finger on it... Anyway, first priority now was to help Loki... somehow.

I took a second gaze on our whole surroundings. Nobody was there. Typical.

I could go searching for help, but how could I explain my appearance? And more importantly, how could I explain Loki? So I decided to stay hidden.

I also was glad about the many survival-camps I've been part of. I checked Loki one last time and then went to the forest nearby. We needed provisions and a place to stay.

Soon enough, I found a small chalet. I hesitantly knocked on the door, but nobody opened. I pulled down the knob and the door opened with a jar. Slowly I entered the small building. It seemed abandoned and dusty. I looked around the room, there was an old bed, a fireplace with a large pot, a small table, a chair and a ladder. That was better, than I imagined. Now I only had to go back and carry Loki to this place. On my way back, I marked the way to the chalet with branches, which I plugged into the ground, every 15 feet.

As I came back, I found Loki still unconsciously laying on the ground. I knelt down beside him, looking at his relaxed features. He looked so peacefully. I watched him a few more seconds, taken away by such a handsome view, before I picked him up. Man, he was heavier than he looked like. I somehow managed to carry Loki to the chalet, where I carefully layed him down onto the bed and put a blanket over him.
